I actually really liked 'They both die...' a lot. I'm someone who's incredibly scared of dying, and somehow this booked helped. I really appreciated a YA book that addressed death and its randomness, without being religious.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo emotionally destroyed me. Evelyn is such a great character. Loved her... I think it is a great bi representation, I agree with you. What I loved the most was how realistic all the relationship appeared to me, but to be honest what I loved the most was her friendship with Harry Cameron and how they supported each other through through.
As someone who identifies as a member of LGTBQPAI+ community, I fell in love with They Both Die At The End. It just hits differently and It's one of my favorite books of all time and they way the author wrote the characters stayed with me long after I finished the book. It's so hard to find good LGTBQPAI novels these days and I was so in love with Mateo and Rufus.
Honestly one of my favorite parts of They Both Die At The End was that the characters were written like normal teens. Mateo’s character development was great, and Rufus had such a fantastic personality. I’m glad that the book didn’t fall into a hole with a lot of other YA novels.
All I can say is that it made me cry more than any other book I’ve read before. 😭👌 Spoilers: Idk what I expected based on the title but it still hit different

I felt like I was being talked down to because it's a a young adult book and I am a young adult. Idk lol I just really couldnt stand the writing or the dialogue, which is disappointing because I think it's such an interesting concept. I don't mean any disrespect to the people who did enjoy it. Well, speaking as a Cuban, the whole heritage is weird and diverse. Cubans tend to be white (like Spanish-white or Italian-white. Not Scandinavian obv) or they're black, like African Descent black. I am one of those. We call ourselves "Afro-Cuban or Afro-Latina". Cubans are not "Mexican" or "Puerto Rican (even tho I am also a black PR too)". Just to educate anyone who doesn't know about what Cubans look like and are assuming Evelyn looked Mexican. She would have looked more like an Italian.
Even Mexicans and PRs are not all brown-skinned, the same applies to all other countries like Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, etc. that also have a lot of diversity and ethnic groups 🤗
While I was reading They Both Die at the End I wasn't a big fan, butI literally haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I actually listened to it on Audible, and while it was kind of slow (especially for an audiobook), I feel like the voices actually helped with making the characters and their dialogue more real. When Rufus says something cringe-y, I would have an attitude like, "well, that's Rufus for you!" I came within an inch of returning the audiobook because I was so underwhelmed, but the longer I go after finishing it... idk, the story really stuck with me

I'm so glad I watched your video on it because I would've never picked it up because it's categorized as 'high-fantasy' (I've only read urban fantasy so far!). My supervisor in college was 5'2'' and looked like she was twelve. We would be browsing in the dining hall and teachers for a visiting middle school would try to lead her away. A bartender threatened to break her driver's license. Residents in our building would sign their death warrants speaking down to her and unleash a 5'2'' petite pillar of volcanic rage. Good times.
TSHOEH is a great book, really worthy to read. Shame on me that I'd only read it recently. I also stayed awake for 2 and half hour, listening to Reputation and Lover of TS, 'cause it seems like it fits for the EH life story. Evelyn Hugo is one hell of a fascinating character, perfectly crooked.
ok, hear me out. the fact that they both die at the end doesn't explore the rest of the world is, in short form, because it doesn't need it. its the exact same world as ours, with the only difference being the calls that people get when their going to die, which is explained through the other POV's we get. that's our insight of the world. its the type of story it is. instead of the two protagonists living and "figuring out whats truly going on", we get a more realistic view with realistic people. thats what i love about it. how real the characters are made out to be.

I'm surprised you gave Evelyn Hugo such a high grade! I loved Evelyn as a character and her cast of characters but Monique as a narrator was lackluster and her dialogue was stilted and very PC but in that "performative way' as opposed to her speaking through her lived experience as a POC. It seemed the author was afraid to make her as flawed and interesting as Evelyn and did her a diservice as our 'eyes'. I kind of wish her part of the story had been even remotely as well written as Evelyn Hugo. It's great that Evelyn gets highlighted but then make your narrator equally as nuanced or get rid of them. It was still a lovely entrancing book that I read in a single day but it kept it from being a re-read sort of book for me.
I loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. She's definitely an amazingly written character. It's cool that you created a playlist for it! I immediately thought of Evelyn when I heard Dying in L.A. by Panic! At The Disco :- )
Literally just stayed awake all night reading They Both Die at the End, and you're the first youtuber who shares my opinion on it. thought maybe because of the general hype my standards just became too high, but after your review I feel a lot more solid in my conclusion. Though, like you said, I really appreciate many aspects of it (it's not every day you read about two gay LatinX boys) and understand why so many people fell in love with it.
Literally just finished the book and was scouting the booktubes to figure out what I was missing but then I found this video and THANK YOU UA-cam for this. The book was still good and I will recommend it to the right audience but for me, it had so much more potential which it didn't fulfill.
I really love your reviews, they’re super insightful and well thought out and it’s so fascinating to hear your opinions and you make extremely valid points. But I do have to admit that I’m absolute trash for The Loneliest Girl In The Universe AND They Both Die At The End. They’re both just really my type of story because what really makes a story for me is the characters and I fell in love with every single character in both of these stories. I don’t know if that speaks to my limited reading/life expectancies but I really couldn’t help but love the stories because of that.

He was my favorite character, and I actually did predict that the man Harry loved was Moniques dad, only cause why else would she put that character?

So as I kept reading I was like "don't get attached, don't get attached" and I thought I did a good job until the end where (SPOILER) Mateo just died and I was balling.... I did end up liking the book, not one of my favourites but worth a read to me
Just finished reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo after picking it up on a whim and it was a 👌 ride. Her character pulled me in and kept me interested all the way through the end. This and The Night Tiger are one of my favorite reads so far this year 👀

Haha, name dropping in stories always makes me think the author wants you to be impressed with how many people in history they know about. Not saying that's what they're doing, buuuuttttt...that's how it comes across. I never realized Evelyn Hugo was Cuban. My grandparents are from Cuba and I don't know that I've read a book with a Cuban character. So thanks for putting that fact on my radar! Strange the Dreamer is funny because people get really passionate about their love or hate of it. I 100% can see how it's not for everyone, and it took me awhile to get into, but in the end I really enjoyed it. That said, I don't know why some people get defensive about others not liking it. The writing style is so specific that it's not going to vibe with everybody. So I'm sorry it wasn't for you, but that's obviously totally fine! I really appreciate you acknowledging the importance of diversity and still respecting the book as a book (in reference to They Both Die). I think it's always important that people be honest about their thoughts on a story 🙂 And you always do that with such great insight!
i'm fine with name dropping as long as it's actually purposeful in the story, but in this book it was not and was very jarring. i did not know evelyn hugo was cuban either until i read the book, and was pleased to see this story was about a woman of color. i'm glad you ended up enjoying strange the dreamer, but yea it's definitely an acquired taste and niche interest so not for everybody like me lol! i think what sucks about diverse books is that we want them so desperately that they tend to be hyped up a LOT because we get so excited about representation, but that doesn't mean the story is necessarily good. i've felt lukewarm about many "diverse" stories so far even though i want more representation. still, i'm glad that many people have resonated with the book!
readwithcindy have you ever read the Sandman comics? My hubby read them and the main character does a Shakespeare play in one issue, and the author put that the issue was by him and William Shakespeare. And literally, nothing else happens in that issue. I haven’t read it myself, so it’s probably not fair of me to say, but that sounds like the worst case of name dropping/borderline plagiarism I’ve ever heard. I completely get what you mean about diversity. I think there’s starting to be more diversity in contemporary books, but it still seems rare in fantasy (although it’s getting better). I never want authors to fulfill a checklist just so they can say there’s diversity; I want diverse stories and characters to actually be written well. And while I’m super happy certain stories are resonating with people, I don’t think it’s fair to give a book a pass solely because it has something diverse in it. Anyway, that could be a whole tangent that’s probably too long for the comments 😆 you’re amazing and I loved your wrap up!

Okay, I completely agree with you on The Loneliest Girl in the Universe. At the time I finished it and enjoyed it and rated it four stars but that was back when I didn't know how to rate books (I still don't?? But I'm better. 🤷🏻♀️) But I felt the writing was very simple as well and I wasn't sure how I felt about the story while reading it. The twist at the end is definitely what makes it. I don't think it's something I'll ever pick up again. I also completely understand why you would DNF Strange the Dreamer. I personally LOVED it but it's for sure not a book for everyone. I'm glad you gave it a try though!

the hype over strange the dreamer never intrigued me but i gave it a try anyway for the readalongs and just could not follow thru with it LOL i know tons of people love it tho so idk. same for they both die at the end. i feel so meh about it. it's my first and only adam silvera book too and i don't think i'll read the others bc i'm not a fan of his writing style. i am curious about matt haig's the human though so i might give it a try but have low expectations for it lol
Honestly they both die at the End is one of my favourite books, but that's probably pretty personal as well. I really enjoyed 'More Happy Than Not' by Adam Silvera.
I really enjoyed The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and most of the characters in the book but I didn't really like Monique I just found her and the characters relating to her like her mom and husband were kind of blah to me.
@@cfbg that the story didn't give her any time to flesh out her character at all so she just felt like a hollow character purely used as narrative device rather than a fully fleshed out person.
my friends usually tell me that i don't like what's trending, so: i gave the 7 husbands of evelyn hugo 2 stars yes, i had my reasons for it, but i guess the main reason is that i did not sympathize with any of the characters at all

this video is like two years old but i really liked adam silvera's history is all you left me, but felt the same way you did for they both die at the end and more happy than not. history is all you left me was a story about grief and ocd that actually took the time to discuss all of those topics, whereas i felt they both die at the end to be too short to actually discuss anything substantially. hopefully you'll pick it up!

_They Both Die at the End_ is my favorite book I've ever read. Am I proud of that fact? No, not really. I'm aware of the glaring issues, from the strange, forced slang to the lack of worldbuilding. In my opinion, the book could have been improved so much by maybe just one more draft. I'd seen the title of this book on Barnes & Noble's website looking for another book, and it immediately caught my eye and drew me in. I read the excerpt they had on there (the whole first chapter, I think?), and though the title stuck in my head, the characters really didn't. But when I saw it at a book fair at school, I decided to give it a chance and buy it. A boy who saw me grab it off the shelf told me he loved that book (still very confused by him considering he's made homophobic comments but that's off-topic), and after I bought it, one of my friends told me they liked the book. I didn't read the quotes on the inside cover of the book. Didn't research anything about it or about Adam Silvera. Didn't read any reviews. I remember thinking at one point, "Man, this idea could be cool as an insta-love romance, but it seems like that's not the direction this book is going at all. I bet if Mateo and Rufus had more time to get to know each other, they might fall in love or something." So as the romance got more obvious bit by bit, I started to piece it all together. I think that's why I loved the book so much-the characters weren't expecting to fall in love with a person in a day, and I wasn't expecting it either, which was what made me love it so much, especially since I don't read many physical books with prominent queer characters. *spoiler* After Mateo and Rufus kiss, that was when I started crying because I realized it was going to be over soon. However, once I actually closed the book, I wasn't crying anymore. That's the crazy thing about this book that I _think_ is a good thing-despite being about how these characters had so much left of their lives that they were going to live, it actually wrapped things up very well and gave me a nice sense of closure. And one last positive note: I love the chapters told from random people's perspectives; it reinforces that in the end, all of us are connected, which was probably my biggest takeaway from the book. That, or that I really should look up what genre a book is before reading it. Then again, I literally just came to the conclusion that that was why I loved this book so freaking much, so maybe not. My point in writing this is, I can fully understand why somebody else wouldn't really be a fan, but I definitely am, though it was probably the circumstances I read the book under rather than the well-craftedness of the book itself. P.S. Definitely going to check out The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo!

I disagree with your rating for THEY BOTH DIE AT THE END..I just finished the audiobook and I loved it. Didn't cry but teared up in parts.. I loved the relationship between Mateo and Rufus. I got more of a bromance vibe, rather than them being queer.. which I loved even more (not homophobic..I just love the bromance trope) it was super cute! Mateo was like a puppy and rufus was his wiser, braver doberman friend lol
I think Strange is very polarizing so don’t feel bad about that or Adam Silvera. I get a sense that with Silvera, if you love his work you love all of it but if you don’t, well, they’re all kind of similarly written. I DNF’d History is All You Left Me for critiques similar to yours. But soooo glad you loved Evelyn Hugo! What an emotional rollercoaster!

You know what's the funny thing that I realized while and after reading this book? It helped me know who I am in midst of the protagonist figuring herself and who she really is and explaining it to everyone. Because of Evelyn Hugo, i finally came to a conclusion that I am bisexual because just like her, I once loved a man but my greatest love was a lady.

((spoilers for TBDATE)) i just finished They Both Die at the End a few hours ago. ngl after the book ended, I spent more time thinking about how it could be science fiction if we were given more opportunities to explore Death Cast, its beginnings, and how the organization just knows when people will die that day. something like Death Cast has to harness some powerful energy/magic or *cough* rely on exploitation of other people to get that information. there is so much potential for another book to dive into that. i had some strong feelings about the stove part too bc I felt robbed of any emotional pay off regarding the scene and how the deaths occur. throughout the book, the building tension between Rufus and Peck led me to believe there would be murder. I really thought Rufus's slang was just NY culture✨🗽 but he could have used more relevant slang? idk I've never lived there. Listening to the audiobook hit different not only bc it had 3 different voices for Mateo, Rufus, and the other POV's, BUT bc Rufus's narrator gave off some misguided bad boy/TDI Duncan vibes. The slang didn't sound too awkward coming from his voice. anyway I'm going to listen to The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo thanks to your video!! Sounds really amazing

What I loved the most was how realistic all the relationship appeared to me, but to be honest what I loved the most was her friendship with Harry Cameron and how they supported each other through through.

As someone who identifies as a member of LGTBQPAI+ community, I fell in love with They Both Die At The End. It just hits differently and It's one of my favorite books of all time and they way the author wrote the characters stayed with me long after I finished the book.
It's so hard to find good LGTBQPAI novels these days and I was so in love with Mateo and Rufus.
Honestly one of my favorite parts of They Both Die At The End was that the characters were written like normal teens. Mateo’s character development was great, and Rufus had such a fantastic personality. I’m glad that the book didn’t fall into a hole with a lot of other YA novels.
All I can say is that it made me cry more than any other book I’ve read before. 😭👌 Spoilers:

Well, speaking as a Cuban, the whole heritage is weird and diverse. Cubans tend to be white (like Spanish-white or Italian-white. Not Scandinavian obv) or they're black, like African Descent black. I am one of those. We call ourselves "Afro-Cuban or Afro-Latina". Cubans are not "Mexican" or "Puerto Rican (even tho I am also a black PR too)". Just to educate anyone who doesn't know about what Cubans look like and are assuming Evelyn looked Mexican. She would have looked more like an Italian.
Even Mexicans and PRs are not all brown-skinned, the same applies to all other countries like Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, etc. that also have a lot of diversity and ethnic groups 🤗

While I was reading They Both Die at the End I wasn't a big fan, butI literally haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I actually listened to it on Audible, and while it was kind of slow (especially for an audiobook), I feel like the voices actually helped with making the characters and their dialogue more real. When Rufus says something cringe-y, I would have an attitude like, "well, that's Rufus for you!" I came within an inch of returning the audiobook because I was so underwhelmed, but the longer I go after finishing it... idk, the story really stuck with me

ok, hear me out. the fact that they both die at the end doesn't explore the rest of the world is, in short form, because it doesn't need it. its the exact same world as ours, with the only difference being the calls that people get when their going to die, which is explained through the other POV's we get. that's our insight of the world. its the type of story it is. instead of the two protagonists living and "figuring out whats truly going on", we get a more realistic view with realistic people. thats what i love about it. how real the characters are made out to be.

I'm surprised you gave Evelyn Hugo such a high grade! I loved Evelyn as a character and her cast of characters but Monique as a narrator was lackluster and her dialogue was stilted and very PC but in that "performative way' as opposed to her speaking through her lived experience as a POC. It seemed the author was afraid to make her as flawed and interesting as Evelyn and did her a diservice as our 'eyes'. I kind of wish her part of the story had been even remotely as well written as Evelyn Hugo. It's great that Evelyn gets highlighted but then make your narrator equally as nuanced or get rid of them. It was still a lovely entrancing book that I read in a single day but it kept it from being a re-read sort of book for me.

Literally just stayed awake all night reading They Both Die at the End, and you're the first youtuber who shares my opinion on it. thought maybe because of the general hype my standards just became too high, but after your review I feel a lot more solid in my conclusion. Though, like you said, I really appreciate many aspects of it (it's not every day you read about two gay LatinX boys) and understand why so many people fell in love with it.
Literally just finished the book and was scouting the booktubes to figure out what I was missing but then I found this video and THANK YOU UA-cam for this. The book was still good and I will recommend it to the right audience but for me, it had so much more potential which it didn't fulfill.

I never realized Evelyn Hugo was Cuban. My grandparents are from Cuba and I don't know that I've read a book with a Cuban character. So thanks for putting that fact on my radar!
Strange the Dreamer is funny because people get really passionate about their love or hate of it. I 100% can see how it's not for everyone, and it took me awhile to get into, but in the end I really enjoyed it. That said, I don't know why some people get defensive about others not liking it. The writing style is so specific that it's not going to vibe with everybody. So I'm sorry it wasn't for you, but that's obviously totally fine!
I really appreciate you acknowledging the importance of diversity and still respecting the book as a book (in reference to They Both Die). I think it's always important that people be honest about their thoughts on a story 🙂 And you always do that with such great insight!
i'm fine with name dropping as long as it's actually purposeful in the story, but in this book it was not and was very jarring. i did not know evelyn hugo was cuban either until i read the book, and was pleased to see this story was about a woman of color. i'm glad you ended up enjoying strange the dreamer, but yea it's definitely an acquired taste and niche interest so not for everybody like me lol! i think what sucks about diverse books is that we want them so desperately that they tend to be hyped up a LOT because we get so excited about representation, but that doesn't mean the story is necessarily good. i've felt lukewarm about many "diverse" stories so far even though i want more representation. still, i'm glad that many people have resonated with the book!
readwithcindy have you ever read the Sandman comics? My hubby read them and the main character does a Shakespeare play in one issue, and the author put that the issue was by him and William Shakespeare. And literally, nothing else happens in that issue. I haven’t read it myself, so it’s probably not fair of me to say, but that sounds like the worst case of name dropping/borderline plagiarism I’ve ever heard.
I completely get what you mean about diversity. I think there’s starting to be more diversity in contemporary books, but it still seems rare in fantasy (although it’s getting better). I never want authors to fulfill a checklist just so they can say there’s diversity; I want diverse stories and characters to actually be written well. And while I’m super happy certain stories are resonating with people, I don’t think it’s fair to give a book a pass solely because it has something diverse in it.
Anyway, that could be a whole tangent that’s probably too long for the comments 😆 you’re amazing and I loved your wrap up!

Okay, I completely agree with you on The Loneliest Girl in the Universe. At the time I finished it and enjoyed it and rated it four stars but that was back when I didn't know how to rate books (I still don't?? But I'm better. 🤷🏻♀️) But I felt the writing was very simple as well and I wasn't sure how I felt about the story while reading it. The twist at the end is definitely what makes it. I don't think it's something I'll ever pick up again.

Honestly they both die at the End is one of my favourite books, but that's probably pretty personal as well. I really enjoyed 'More Happy Than Not' by Adam Silvera.
I really enjoyed The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and most of the characters in the book but I didn't really like Monique I just found her and the characters relating to her like her mom and husband were kind of blah to me.
@@cfbg that the story didn't give her any time to flesh out her character at all so she just felt like a hollow character purely used as narrative device rather than a fully fleshed out person.

this video is like two years old but i really liked adam silvera's history is all you left me, but felt the same way you did for they both die at the end and more happy than not. history is all you left me was a story about grief and ocd that actually took the time to discuss all of those topics, whereas i felt they both die at the end to be too short to actually discuss anything substantially. hopefully you'll pick it up!

_They Both Die at the End_ is my favorite book I've ever read. Am I proud of that fact? No, not really. I'm aware of the glaring issues, from the strange, forced slang to the lack of worldbuilding. In my opinion, the book could have been improved so much by maybe just one more draft.
I'd seen the title of this book on Barnes & Noble's website looking for another book, and it immediately caught my eye and drew me in. I read the excerpt they had on there (the whole first chapter, I think?), and though the title stuck in my head, the characters really didn't.
But when I saw it at a book fair at school, I decided to give it a chance and buy it. A boy who saw me grab it off the shelf told me he loved that book (still very confused by him considering he's made homophobic comments but that's off-topic), and after I bought it, one of my friends told me they liked the book.
I didn't read the quotes on the inside cover of the book. Didn't research anything about it or about Adam Silvera. Didn't read any reviews. I remember thinking at one point, "Man, this idea could be cool as an insta-love romance, but it seems like that's not the direction this book is going at all. I bet if Mateo and Rufus had more time to get to know each other, they might fall in love or something."
So as the romance got more obvious bit by bit, I started to piece it all together. I think that's why I loved the book so much-the characters weren't expecting to fall in love with a person in a day, and I wasn't expecting it either, which was what made me love it so much, especially since I don't read many physical books with prominent queer characters.
*spoiler* After Mateo and Rufus kiss, that was when I started crying because I realized it was going to be over soon. However, once I actually closed the book, I wasn't crying anymore. That's the crazy thing about this book that I _think_ is a good thing-despite being about how these characters had so much left of their lives that they were going to live, it actually wrapped things up very well and gave me a nice sense of closure.
And one last positive note: I love the chapters told from random people's perspectives; it reinforces that in the end, all of us are connected, which was probably my biggest takeaway from the book.
That, or that I really should look up what genre a book is before reading it. Then again, I literally just came to the conclusion that that was why I loved this book so freaking much, so maybe not.
My point in writing this is, I can fully understand why somebody else wouldn't really be a fan, but I definitely am, though it was probably the circumstances I read the book under rather than the well-craftedness of the book itself.
P.S. Definitely going to check out The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo!

I've been lowkey obsessed with both Sagmeister and Walsh since high school, so I did a little scream when you mentioned his book. Also, the book "The loneliest girl in the universe" sounds a bit like the short anime "Voices of a Distant Star" (done by the same guy who did Your Name) I've heard a million and one praises for Evelyn Hugo, but it never really interested me, but after your raving I think I might have to give it a try...

I disagree with your rating for THEY BOTH DIE AT THE END..I just finished the audiobook and I loved it. Didn't cry but teared up in parts.. I loved the relationship between Mateo and Rufus. I got more of a bromance vibe, rather than them being queer.. which I loved even more (not homophobic..I just love the bromance trope) it was super cute! Mateo was like a puppy and rufus was his wiser, braver doberman friend lol
I loved they both die at the endddddddd. Adam silvers is great. Infinity son though. Well. That never existed you can’t change my mind
I think Strange is very polarizing so don’t feel bad about that or Adam Silvera. I get a sense that with Silvera, if you love his work you love all of it but if you don’t, well, they’re all kind of similarly written. I DNF’d History is All You Left Me for critiques similar to yours.

You know what's the funny thing that I realized while and after reading this book?
It helped me know who I am in midst of the protagonist figuring herself and who she really is and explaining it to everyone.
Because of Evelyn Hugo, i finally came to a conclusion that I am bisexual because just like her, I once loved a man but my greatest love was a lady.
All the characters were so real and raw,, you can see and feel why evelyn makes her choices and decisions

i usually like writing styles that use a lot of metaphors and similes but this one was def too flowery for me lol

i just finished They Both Die at the End a few hours ago. ngl after the book ended, I spent more time thinking about how it could be science fiction if we were given more opportunities to explore Death Cast, its beginnings, and how the organization just knows when people will die that day. something like Death Cast has to harness some powerful energy/magic or *cough* rely on exploitation of other people to get that information. there is so much potential for another book to dive into that. i had some strong feelings about the stove part too bc I felt robbed of any emotional pay off regarding the scene and how the deaths occur. throughout the book, the building tension between Rufus and Peck led me to believe there would be murder. I really thought Rufus's slang was just NY culture✨🗽 but he could have used more relevant slang? idk I've never lived there. Listening to the audiobook hit different not only bc it had 3 different voices for Mateo, Rufus, and the other POV's, BUT bc Rufus's narrator gave off some misguided bad boy/TDI Duncan vibes. The slang didn't sound too awkward coming from his voice.
anyway I'm going to listen to The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo thanks to your video!! Sounds really amazing
