I actually considered a newer softail, watching this made me even happier that I picked up a Dyna instead. lol, I've seen velcro fall apart after just a year or 2. HD was so proud about weight savings on the new softails, I wonder if it was because they started swapping plastic parts for metal? Why the Thundermaxx over a Dynojet Powervision? Does it provide a more precise tune? I'm pretty sure all the shops around here use Dynojet because it pairs with the dynamometers they have in their shops.
Are you asking about the legs, or the fork tubes? The legs or powder coated that’s pretty easy. The tubes are DLC coated we sell them they should be on the website if not give The Shop a call talk to Trent he will get you dialed
can you technically put this in and when you have to go to the HD dealer for maintenance, throw your OEM ecm back in and it would still be under warranty?
At this point, I feel the same way you did about doing this kind of mod on our bikes. I’m all about drivetrain and suspension as well. I’m curious what your thoughts on the TMax are now that you’ve messed with it? Would you continue running them? I just installed one on my RGS and I’m not really happy with how it ran initially. I’ve only done a total of 60 miles and uploaded the corrected map when I got to the garage. I have yet to take it back out for continued learning.
That’s pretty vague I don’t really run any BMX style stuff. We run renthal Moto grips. I have ODIBMX grips on my Dina but you have to get rid of all the controls and do some special stuff. Built well make some cheap BMX looking grips they suck though.
@@cencoast_7.340 yet. I live in Idaho and the feds started with Idaho rob solely because he was the biggest distributor or emission delete tuning. Of all states you figure Nobody would give 2 shits what Idaho does, hell half the country doesn’t even know where Idaho is. And they have only cracked down everywhere else. But with the Paris agreement if full effect and a hard charge towards a EV world I can see the EPA enforcing Hd to have some sort of extra emissions shit on the exhaust fallowed but going after hand held tuner manufacturers.
S&s which is what I ended up running has a deal thing with dyno-jet which is what I'll probably run but yeah the pipe needed an extendo piece which brings out the break peddle a noticeable cunt hair further. I don't do no canyon carving leaning though to be honest so no issue here hahahaha
When replacing a complete ECM you should unhook the battery. When working on any electrical system such as this you should unhook the battery. The maxi fuse will not be sufficient.

Ryan, I had the same issue with my head pipe and Dynojet TargetTune. The front pipe OS2 sensor hits the motor with thrashinsupply AR pipe.

No, fp3 doesn't use wide band sensors. It's not a very good tuner. Mine is a paper weight now.
