I think Deebo heard some of the criticism that he didn't give 100% when the ball wasnt coming his way last year and knew he needed to step up with Aiyuk missing the whole offseason. His blocking is looking really good this year.
Same with Bosa, he didn’t give up on that play where he chase Pat QB for only 1yd run. Some of these guys ballin. I think they know this year is the year 😂
Man, thanks for these. You’ve slowed down the game so much for me. I see so much more while I’m watching thanks to paying attention to your breakdowns the last couple seasons.
Can I just say what a beautiful thing it is to see the 49er defense 100% focus on defense and at the flip of a switch with Fred gets the pic EVERYONE instantaneously switches gears to playing offense to assist him with the pic 6. You got safety's and CB's running the length of the field to assist with blocking in some way for him. So cool to see team work making the dream work.
Thanks Jonny! Great video! The whole play on the Warner pick was awesome. D played well before the pick and the blocking after was great. Didn't pick that up on the broadcast when I was watching the game. That crack toss was awesome too. Trent Williams is a beast!
Definitely a positive week but the Patriots offense might be the worst offense in the league. I'm hoping this is a step in the right direction for the defense and not just the Patriots being hapless making the defense look better. The offense and Purdy continue to look good but not having McCaffrey is definitely hurting them in the red zone. Purdy also seems like he doesn't trust Mason as much with the check downs.
On Fred's pick 6, it looked like a Pats player and a defender ran in front of Fred when Brisett was looking their way and basically hid Fred from Brisett's POV. At least from the broadcast. McKivitz whiffing yet again on the Kittle TD smh Purdy did say in a presser that he thought Aiyuk was one-on-one and didn't account for Peppers Excellent breakdown👍
Bro what was Issac Guerrendo looking at in that kickoff!!??? There where huge holes to his left sand ran into his own lineman and fumbled……. Even a peewee player would have seen those other lanes open up
No, the following play is the explanation. That first Deebo run opens up the following play because the D commits to Base D accounting for Deebo as a runner, but the play action means they are trapped with a LB tracking Deebo and the safety loses BA in the middle. One play let's Purdy and Shanahan read the D and influence it. Sometimes it works, sometimes, like the interception, the D makes the play instead of goin with the tendency.
Guerrendo wasn't even good enough to start for his college team. I think the lack of field vision, instincts, and experience make him a bad choice for kickoff return. His track speed does not translate to the football field as much as people think. He lacks breakaway speed, Al Mo ost always getting caught by a defender in a foot race
@Wolfeson28 that and it was Patriots and I was just getting back from vacation. I didn't feel a lot of the defensive film had nuggets because some of it was the Patriots being awful
Purdy is an A+ absolutely legit Franchise QB
💯
Still got a little ways to go to fill Jimmy's shoes, but he's definitely nice
@@tommywolmart265he’s already 2x better than Jimmy EVER was & he’ll only get better with experience

Always more fun to watch these after a win! Hopefully niners can keep the momentum rolling!

ALways enjoy the videos and always after a win HA.
Kittle said his route was actually out and up and originally had to confirm his route since it was not designed for red zone.
#JD49 Even coming off a vacation, just couldn't wait any longer to get this video out! This music feels like victory Monday.

In preseason purdy was practicing a lot of deep throwing and it shows on that 53 yard dime to deebo

Comment for the algorithm!
I thought everyone was saying Purdy wasn’t good vs the Zone after the ravens game last year. Well looks like everyone is wrong about him AGAIN.
If zone is so much beter than man why is wide receivers always so wide open
It's not always about which is better, its which do you play better and what the offense is calling. It's not that binary
I like the analysis.. but this background song is killing me :)
I changed it last month and almost had a revolt, lol
I like the music. 🤷♀️

On the Warner Pick-6, did Campbell back out and play Man? Smh
@cobracogwell_ he was matching the crosser, but matched too far.
Great breakdown (as always). But did I miss the bit where you explain why Deebo was in the backfield on those first few plays?
No, the following play is the explanation. That first Deebo run opens up the following play because the D commits to Base D accounting for Deebo as a runner, but the play action means they are trapped with a LB tracking Deebo and the safety loses BA in the middle.
