I did put this in the description box but in case you don't read that, here is the link to what these potatoes looked like only 2 months before I harvested them. It's a short less than two mins vid. ua-cam.com/video/n0t2F9M7CZI/v-deo.html
That was also an interesting experiment that worked and this one was a different one. Link to the short vid at the top as a pinned comment or in the description. They do look amazing for only being in the ground 2 months 🥰
Wow 😱 Omg the potato’s are huge I always tell people if we ever have a food shortage or if stores close potato’s will always fill you up and they taste d-lish ❤ great job Trisha you are so encouraging 🥳
Thanks so much Angel 💕As a reminder, I put a less than 2 min video in the description of what they looked like before going in the ground 2 months ago. So amazed at what came from this experiment in such a short amount of time from a humble spud 🥔
Great harvest. Some of those potatoes were huge and considering how the plants started nature sure did find a way, I'm really pleased for you. Well done.
Thanks. I will have to cut off any green parts before using but very happy with the results of the experiment. Not sure if you saw that less than 2 min video in the description of what they looked like before they went in the ground 2 months ago. Anyway, amazing results in such a short time 🙂
@@AlmostaGreenAcre-zs5eu I was questioning my self of the green parts as long time ago someone told me that the green parts are not good and possibly poisonous. But I was not sure about this. I watched all the video but had not read the description. ❤
Thanks HippieChick 💕Potato experiment was successful 😃What surprised me the most was the short amount of time they were in the ground for some of them to reach that size.
I can get down alright, but the gettin up is a different story 🤣 The potatoes look Great ! Now I'm hungry, gonna make me a baked potato with butter, sour cream and chives. Haven't had one in a while. Thanks for the video. 👍
Haha. I know Louis. My body is feeling it, lol. Some of those potatoes were so big it got me to thinking about a baked potato to 😃Thanks for coming by and watching friend.
Oh wow, you are definitely set for potatoes for the winter, Krista. My 8 year old granddaughter is coming to stay with us for three days. I am delighted that she has my gardening passion (her parents don't!). I think we'll run down to the ocean and bring some seaweed back to top up the winter beds and, of course, look in on all the worm farms. Stay warm! ~ Sandra
Thanks Sandra 💕My children have no interest in gardening either but maybe my grandchildren will, like your granddaughter. Have a wonderful time together and enjoy collecting seaweed at the ocean. That is always a treat ❤
Thanks 🙂I put a very short video in the description to show people what went in the ground 2 months ago. I can't take any credit for the harvest. I'm constantly blown away by what our Creator has given us to be successful with the humble spud 💕
wow wonderful potatoes bet they taste better then store bought too. I need to make a bed of that got my rototiller going so i can really crank things up
Nice potato harvest!!! I thought green potatoes were some how not good for you - is that a myth? I hope to grow potatoes in a tub next year because our ground is too rocky for in-ground planting. I am a twitch envious of your beautiful soil & in-ground beds, but I’m also a truck load of happy for your bountiful potato harvest. 🎉😍🎉👏
Thanks Adrienne. It was a surprise harvest for the short amount of time in the ground for sure. I won't be eating the skin and I have read somewhere not to feed the green skins to chickens. I've bought lots of potatoes from the store and have seen many green skins on some of them in the bags over the years. I will look into it Adrienne 💕

I watched when you took the eyes off the potato’s in your home, then put them in the cup method! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Now look at them! 🥔 amazing!

Thank you Tones ☺ The humble potato gave a very nice harvest considering there were only 2 small rows in a 2 x 4 section approx.

Thanks so much Barby ♥ Lots did get accomplished and I'm happy that I was able to help out with anything you need.

You cut out the sun burnt parts, right?
Yes, I would cut out any sunburnt parts and use those ones up 1st. I also won't be eating the skins of any that are green.
