Therefore she's awe-inspiring, without leaving you feeling alienated/insecure about yourself, the way that typical Kpop idols do. In fact, she's someone who can give reassurance to the typical youth feeling unsure about their future. She came to Korea very lacking in comparison to the Korean and Chinese trainees, and considered "old" for someone starting their journey. But she didn't let that hinder her, and worked hard towards her goal. In the end, she was scouted by THE top company, and debuted in a group that succeeded despite the controversy that embroiled their debut days. No one embodies the 'fearless' and 'antifragile' concept of Lesserafim better than Sakura.

Many don't know you HARD it was for sakura to reach her dreams. I am crying while writing this. Her parents divorce and she doesn't know her real father. Her mother remaried and her brother was born. In this situation sakura must have felt like a stranger in her family. Her stepdad wanted her to do well in school + her mother didn't really support her with her dream of becoming a singer. Someone from her family supported her and that is her grandmother. She also mostly grow up at her grandmother. When she moved to tokyo, a hell of a big city for a 13 year old child, she lived in a down with strangers. 😭 She engaged with strangers, although we know she is sooo introverted. Her career as a japanese idol begins know. And it was surely not bright and flowerly as the competition is high with that many members in one group. Many things also happend that we don't know of. Good thing she got big recognition in Japan and she participated in mnetshit produce 48. She literally AGAIN moved to a whole new environment, had to learn a language to again pursue her dreams. But what did mnet do? They snatched first place and therefore the center position from her to give it to a 14 year old korean tall child to continue the legacy of somi. In izone she got LITTLE lines but shone so brightly that anyone couldnt help but notice her. She sings 3 words line with immense stage presence and passionate eyes that you get that feeling they would pierce you. As izone disbanded she again had to say goodbye to friends and in Japan to she wished farewell for her idol friends and family to return again to South Korea and start AGAIN a new bage of her journey to be a bigger star🌟. Now know in le serafim she is sadly not satisfied with her amazing vocals. 😭😭 we have to shower her with love!!!
She may not be the strongest in raw talent which some idols are born with, but you could say her 'talent' is hard work and resilience. I respect her for that. Not many idols are truly passionate in what they do and strive to be better day after day.
She doesn’t get enough praise for her singing, her voice is incredibly stable during live performance which is the most important part of being an idol imo along with stage presence and dancing. There are a lot of kpop idols who have range but very few who can deliver a satisfying performance while on stage, dancing and hitting the right notes at the same time is surprisingly difficult and kkura excels at it.
Ever since her first performance on Produce 48, where she clearly showed that despite being less talented due to different training systems etc. she will always try hard. She's the type of idol that will continue to improve and I support her.
I think that being in Japan and in Korea made her who she is today. In Japan she got the idol values: Being humble, nice, kind and dedicated to her audience. In Korea she got improvement and skill polishment.

But seeing her in LE SSERAFIM I felt so proud, she improved so much and it looks like she’s really enjoying it this time. Just like bugs, people are attracted to bright lights, some will hover around the light enjoying it's warmth while others will burn and parish from it brightness.
