#TOOL #Salival #NoQuarter
Guitar tab and isolated guitar track in the description!
Noooooo!!! The Grudge was blocked by SME and comments were disabled. I've been looking forward to your covers of Lateralus since shortly after your project began.
Me too :( Thanks for watching. Will be finishing in audio only. Will try to upload them to UA-cam, but if not, I have my own server I'll host everything on.
And are you gonna do a Part 2 for blue beam or inocullama?? Like that's like the best shit I've ever heard in my life lol especially blue beam the outro like fuckkkkk how
Best cover of the best cover of No quarter.
Agreed. Definitely best of the best. Thanks to Cameron we can all learn!
1 person disliked this, wearing nipple rings with new tattoos.
You do such a good job with these covers, I'm sure Adam himself would be grateful! This is the 1 song I've been waiting for ever since I saw you were covering Salival. And it was perfect, none the less.
Led Zep prolly disliked it, the whole band was actually upset with Tool for this cover unfortunately
@@christophermilligan5337 where did you learn that? That would explain the Zeppelin digs in The Pot. I always knew there was some context missing there.
That one guy disliked this cover. He was wearing a dope beastie tee. And in between sips of coke he was telling the band. Your selling out. Laying down. Sucking up. To the man.
This helped me out so much in learning the TooL version, with the tone, finger nuance and pots position through out the song. Thank you!
I get goosebumps every time I listen to this
First off this is probably the best cover/rendition of any Led Zep song ever, 2nd your tone is f'n awesome! Stellar job!
Damn, Cam...gave me some good feels right there.
After Merkaba, I'm starting to suspect you of actually being Adam posing as a hard rock Weird Al.
Once again, excellent job. Thank you!
Perfection.. absolute perfection man. This is literally the best cover of Tool's version of No Quarter I've ever heard. Amazing job man!
what about opiateofthemasses
Opiate is the man and does an incredible job not only doing covers but also recreating the coveted Jones rig. I would love to see a UA-cam celebrity death match between the two... in a cage match of course. I just really admire the work they both have done but I can't deny that Cameron Winters has done something unique i haven't witnessed to this point from all of us Tool nerds and I can't deny that. I mean come on, how many Tool video covers have you seen where the person doing the cover used a freaking quarter to create false feedback since he's playing DI? I have NEVER seen that level of ingenuity or creativity and for that I give Cam mad props. He's also using an LPJ which is far from the same type of guitar that Adam Jones uses but still nails the tone. If I've learned anything from Cameron Winters is that you don't have to sink 15 or 20 grand into a rig to achieve that tone, and believe me when I say this, I'm a purist and I am not really a fan of DI. To make one additional point in my friendly rant, the fact that Cam also tabs everything out and shares it with us is also unheard of so that gives him additional star stickers in my book. Once again, not denying that Opiate or Axe of Creation, or Basement GAS aren't incredible in their own right, I just sincerely appreciate what this guy is doing.
@@joshs8344 yup thanks to his tabs i could play descending through rocksmith so yeah he does an amazing job at it
Matteo Ziegler agreed... There's no denying there's a lot of great talent out there. Rock on man!
@@joshs8344 wait.. a quarter?? But the title said... No but seriously, what??
Oh my God
3:53 that riff🔥🔥
Fuck yes fuck yes!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is just hot damn fire right here. Nice work, man!
Love the videos, although I am watching them sporadically, but I am saving them into a separate playlist and I will definitely duke it out one day. Appreciate your effort and great the idea.
Earned yourself a subscriber my guy. Amazing cover!
Thank you for the accurate tab!!!! Been looking for one!!!! Most of them are not right. Great cover btw keep rocking man 🤘🏻
Thanks I’m new to guitar I’m a older beginner 44 people are telling me this is a beginner tool song thanks
Good luck William! This one can be a little tricky honestly. If you have trouble with this one, anything off the Opiate album will probably be a good starting point as well 🤘
awesome guitar cover, like always! But, this is my favorite Justin bass track 😩👌👌
Impressive accuracy and sound as usual.
nice work, love the distortion...nailed it
This is incredibly well done!
Awesome rendition!
Well done as always
Locked in a place where no one gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooes 🔥 🤘
Led Zeppelin: "They choose the path where no-one goes", way better lyrics from Robert Plant, Maynard tried way too hard.
Maynard, like the other instruments in the band, gave it his own touch. Nothing to do with trying hard.
LOCKED IN A PLACE WHERE NO ONE... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOES
Thanks for this bro
How do you only have 4000 subscribers should be 400k
Thanks Blake 🤘
Cameron Winters you clearly put in a lot of work for this. would you by any chance have this song in a guitar pro format?
I don't, sorry Blake. But Max Niessl has many Tool tabs in Guitar Pro format on maxniessl.com, hope that helps at least a little bit!
Amazing...
awesome, my favorite song from salival, you probably get asked this alot but im wondering what is the foam at the truss cover for, and why is tape over the logo? also bridge pickup is Seymour Duncan jb4? i was able to learn most of descending from your cover since its been transcribed to rocksmith, i have a hard time w tabs but grew up on guitar hero so rocksmith works very well for me
the tape is because he' just wants to cover the logo. the foam at the truss rod cover is because when playing on high distortion, after you play all the strings and then mute them (so the goal is complete silence), the strings at the headstock will ring out and cause unwanted noise.
You should do their cover of stranglehold
Cool Zia Records shirt
Fuck me... I only wish to be able to play this song like this some day.. how long did it take for you to learn it? Total learning time?
Fucking nailed it, it's beautiful! 🤘🤘
Ive alwayd wanted to learn this ill i wanna see if i can get it just by watching wbay you play on the video but question pm the intro what effect or effects it sounds cool as hell
Perfect men!!! Yeee
40 days* also funny tomorrows gonna be the third year anniversary this vid came out love this song great job on the cover fear inoculum was a good all in bht and I’m saying honestly kinda mid compared to the older stuff I wish they would’ve been more heavy or mean get grimey but it’s more refined overly complex at times but there’s still some gems on the album i hope they make one more album in the near future 6:08pm
Good heavy metal version.
@5:45
Keep on rocking!you have flanger on in chorus?
Along with distortion?
Can’t wait for LAMC 😎
🎧😜
Is this in tune?
What amp were you using?
Fortin Nameless 🤘
Metálica version

Now do Karnivool's New Day
