How to Paint Sunset at the Sea | Relaxing Oil Painting Time Lapse Video #41

This painting depicts a sailing ship with a beautiful sunset at the sea. The sunlight on the waves creates amazing reflections.
To paint this scene I started with the sky and spent some time painting the gradient sky and the sun. The mountains and the ship were done next. The details of the ship were done very intricately with a (0 number) thin brush. I did the sea in three layers with the highlights done at the end.
Relaxing scenery can be hung in the living room or bedroom.
