    That's how I felt about Edge and Lita's "live sex celebration." Looking back on it after I got older, I realized how inappropriate it was. Like me, there were kids watching. Apparently Lita didn't even want to do it either, but was threatened with being fired.

    • @Shendue
      @Shendue 10 місяців тому +2

      Back then the product wasn't aimed at kids, and it was a good thing. I've never had any issue with nudity anyway. I grew up in the 80s and I'm european, we are less prude about that stuff. My parents never had any issue letting me watch movies or programs with nudity and it's not like I grew up traumatized or smt. We are born naked, a pair of boobs never made any kid into a psycho, it's more of an embarrassment for parents then a problem for kids.
      Being comfortable with kids watching violence but not nudity is kind of a weird concept.
      Forcing people into being naked when they are not comfortable about it, tho, that's absolutely wrong and not acceptable. Vince is a POS, no matter what the outcome of the current allegations will turn out being.

    • @ColtonBarrett
      @ColtonBarrett 10 місяців тому

      @@Shendue Well firstly, what I was referring to wasn't merely nudity, it was sexually suggestive explicit content. Although, they're not always necessarily mutually exclusive. They literally acted out having sex. And kids were most definitely part of their target audience in 2006 or so when that happened, but even if it wasn't directly marketed to them, they were still in attendance.
      I think there's a fine line between being overly modest and promiscuous, or prude and perverted/salacious (degenerate, depraved, debauched, etc.) if you will. Same goes for being too strict and easy-going/carefree with kids, which can both be neglectful. However, as far as violence being more socially acceptable/appropriate than nudity and sex, or being "pg-13" vs "rated R" I'd argue that kids naturally play fight growing up (for multiple reasons), whereas they don't or shouldn't "play fuck". And otherwise wouldn't without developing a sex drive, not at least until puberty (even then they still aren't mature enough to know much better), unless like if they happen to see mommy and daddy "wrestling" (monkey see, monkey do).
      We have public competitive sports where we engage in violence for entertainment that kids may attend and even participate in at an early age. We don't generally all gather and watch porn, though. Or "competitive fucking" at brothels, especially not with minors who are incapable of consent. It's contextual. And whether you're sexually attracted to boobs or not, they're sexualized nonetheless. That's how they wound up being "private parts".
      Aside from nudists, swingers clubs, people in the porn industry, etc. most people aren't like that. Like how most people are monogamous, whereas an exception to the rule are polyamorous people. There's a reason most people aren't comfortable being naked in public or seeing others, much less being forced to. And being exposed to lewd behavior can definitely influence and/or traumatize children.

    According to Vince's texts, Booker T was one of 3 guys that had to go fill some holes that evening. It was still Monday Night Raw, y'heard.

    I travelled to India only once in my life, you get to see some very beautiful tourist attractions in a country full of poverty and a very buzzing lifestyle, it is truly a one of kind experience, anyone who hasn’t travelled to a 3rd world country I recommend that you do so, you will appreciate everything that you take for granted everyday such as clean water from taps to having electricity 24/7 in any modern first world country you live in, just waking up and going for a drive in your own car with road rules and laws becomes so much more appreciated, the way you see people drive in 3rd world countries is heart-in-mouth stuff non-stop, they zigzag and cut infront of you, it’s like everyone is fighting to head for the finish line in some dodgem car race, and it astounds me how they can read and understand each other so well that they miss eachother by the narrowest of margins everytime, it truly is unbelievable.
    But one thing that gave me nightmares is the food, my god it I had the worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced in my life, constant diarrhea, vomiting, I was bedridden for almost 2-3 weeks, it got to a point I was so afraid to eat over there I lost over 10kgs from being sick, there’s this thing called the “Delhi belly” and any overseas traveler at some point will experience this horrid feeling if they do travel to India, so I totally understand what Jericho was saying about his fellow wrestlers getting so sick from the food over there, our immune systems were not use to the food over there and it completely shut us down, it makes me afraid to travel there again simply from the food alone, but the country and people were actually very welcoming.

      Hey man I know that it is tough for foreigners to adopt to our local cuisine. But now there are so manyyy restaurants, 5 star hotels which serve good authentic food without any spices .
      I don't know what the situation was in 2003 but now there's absolutely no way you get sick
      And That Delhi Belly area serves the spiciest and richest foods, which are definitely not for all
      But I beg to differ that only tasting it made you sick
      You must have a tried a full plate of butter chicken loll
      The point is we have a very diverse cuisine now
      So the next time you come to India, I bet you won't be disappointed😊

      @@krishnendughosh619You can still get sick, especially if you're not careful and end up eating out. A friend's boyfriend came over from the states, and immediately fell sick and had to be hospitalized after eating some street food that none of us had a any problem with. It's just a thing you have to be careful of because environmental pathogens can vary and our bodies might not be used to whatever is present thousands of kilometers away. Even common bacteria like E-coli can have varied strains that can cause issues. I've even had friends who travelled to Europe from India and got sick eating the food there.

    Wrestlers don't get enough credit. 10 minutes before going live they had to change up all their plans and they still managed to execute it. That's not easy to do, especially when so much physicality is involved. That's how you know you're dealing with professionals. People who are not wrestling fans and just say it's fake, don't realize how skilled these guys actually are.
