Good shit my dude, I think it's an underrated anime or maybe underappreciated but I remember catching this show when it aired when I was young, seeing the trailers for it and was so stoked for it. It's definitely a show that has stuck with me over the years and gnarly samurai shit is ahead
Samurai Champloo beats Cowboy Beebop imo. Champloo is way deeper, poetic, hilarious, badass and entertaining...not to mention realistic (and some hilariously anachronistic) aspects & dynamics of that time in history.
@@c.s.70 It's a toss up for me, Bebop did make me cry a few times but Champloo didn't, both shows are fantastic in their own ways which just shows the talent that Watanabe has. Some of the best samurai anime action I've ever seen was in Champloo, will never forget these shows.
The term you were looking for was strategist, I think. I too am a dumb ass in this regard. Thinking two steps ahead is a lightbulb moment for me that may come once or twice in my lifetime, lol.
Even though this video is old I don't see it being corrected in the comment section. If the nagatomi gang wins then sosuke dies but the other game keeps their territory, if the nakatomi gang loses then so skate lives but they lose their territory. The Buddha guy killed himself so that way he could repay the cost of the life without losing his son or his territory. That is why the leader of the nagatomy gang seemed upset at first but then rejoiced
Not complaining in the slightest, but how come we're getting double episodes of samurai champloo and single for mob? Is there a reason behind that decision or just cause?
Samurai Spike, so accurate. It will haunt me the rest of my days that I didn't think of it.
14:40 been a while since I’ve seen you laugh like that, really made the video
respect bro, good old classic show
