HELLO GUYS!! great video im from mexico i have a question i dont know if anyone can help me, this engines when you do this swaps needs a pilot bearing?, i have an F23 with a F22 Manual transmision that i wanna swap
when swapping with the manual ecu what wiring if any is done at the ecu? i read the write up on honda-tech, but that was retaining the auto ecu. i have the manual ecu and want to know if you need to repin like in the auto ecu. you never did go over what wiring was done aside from the interlock. i know there is the reverse lights and the VSS, but if you could let me know i would appreciate it.
I didn't go over the wiring because I didn't do it lol. The only thing you're doing at the ECU is repinning a wire for the VSS. Everything else will work as it should
Thanks so much. That's all I was wondering. Dropped the Trans off to get rebuilt and next month I'll be tackling this. Still trying to figure out the support bolt for the clutch assembly since I don't have a way to weld anything to the dash support.
@@michaelharpe8427 It's not *absolutely* necessary, we just did it for extra peace of mind. Other people just stack a bunch of washers up at the firewall for a spacer and send it lol
Why wouldn’t you buy a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing along with a new rear main seal before you started this project? And let the viewers know the torque specs….. just saying
...I literally did? This isn't a step by step tutorial, I didn't have the time or energy to do that. There is more than one swap guide online you can use
My dad goes "sonofabitch, he pulled it off lmao"
Now the ultimate trolling would be to put an auto into a Civic SI

I forgot that the Automatic Accord had a paint change,so i was confused on your last video
Yeah lol I repainted it about 2 years ago
I have a 2000 accord v6 3L and haven’t been able to find a 5 speed for it, am I s.o.l.? Or is there a trans that’ll actually work
They never made the J30 in 5MT, you have to use a CL-S 6 speed transmission and it's quite a bit more involved wiring wise than the F23.
So you drop it all down from the bottom
What video part do you put the clutch pump in ?im currently trying to do the swap
The master cylinder? We didn't really show much of that if I remember right but it'll be toward the end
@@accordinglyryan of this video ?
@@sk8toughrooster411 No it's like part 3 or 4
Is this the same set up for a 00 auto Japan make parts car is 99 manual america make
Should be the same if they're both USDM cars

I swear, you look good with a beard
Thanks! Decided to try it last year and stuck with it.
2:19 IF YA SQUINT IT'S MINT
If I did this unless engine is bad I would do a complete engine and trans swap would save time
I don't see how, we barely had to touch the engine to do this
