Thanks for the reply to my eg k swap issue s. I will check out the main relay start up sequence like you mentioned. It has been some time since I sent that question over to you . What I ended up doing with the main relay was re grounding it . And the ecu and fuel pump turned on with the key. I believe my reissue with the auto crv engine harness . I attempted to convert to manual. I had messed up some grounds in the harness and purchased a manual 04 crv harness and converted it for the 04 accord motor and have been driving the car for probably 5-6 months now .
This swap was a big learning curve. I also had issues with the speedometer not reading . With the counter shaft speed sensor. I changed the wiring on the engine harness and plug . From what I’ve seen on your videos that should of pegged the speedo when moving slowly. I had nothing. I bought a converter box and the the speedo in the dash worked but no speed reading on the ecu . I latter found out that ha motor sport sold me a crv auto ecu with a k pro installed. So I had to run a jumper wire from the k pro board to the vss out put and everything works .
Forget k swap mounts for 4cyl 98-02 accord. Any plans for j series mount? The v6 subframe and k member bolt up. But, the bracing for passenger side mount has to be drilled and cut out of a donor v6 chassis.
Need advice on what engine to swap into my 1985 Honda Civic Wagon. It’s automatic and also want to swap to M/T. What are your suggestions? Thank you VTec Academy

Hey. Question. Is there a mount kit for a J or k-series in a late 90's Honda odyssey. I know they are similar to the Accord as far as mounting positions (right?). Friend needs a new engine and wants something with a little more power at a cheaper price.
What do you guys think about most of the k swap thermostat swivel housings not using the bypass valve off an oem thermostat. Would it cause overheating from the radiator not flowing properly because the bypass is left open?
I have a 96 integra with a b20b. I got it running one day and it stopped running the same day but I don’t know why. I’m getting fuel, spark, air, has a new distributor cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs, and a new battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Long time accord owner and current 6th gen Euro R owner. The 6th gen accord find itself in very tough spot where K swapping is concerned because of its subframe design. The 6th gen uses a combination of the previous generation caster rod with a two piece subframe that hugs the H/F series really tight. To kswap this gen accord would sadly involve a heavily modified subframe from what Ive looked at. There may be some work arounds out there which im sure Brian would explore looking into this platform. hoping to hear more on this in the future. There are tons on SiR and Euro Rs here waiting for a K24 + 6mt
You would need to use the CDK mount kit and an aftermarket front crossmember (where radius rods go). The k series engine is designed to sit a bit closer to the rad support so the axles don’t bind.
@@401kid6 Still wouldnt work with the CDK kit even if you eliminated the radius rods. the 6th gen subframe would interfere with the kseries oilpan and transmission
