Saba, a Caribbean Paradise

This is an edit I put together of my favorite shots from our week on the little volcanic Caribbean island of Saba. Big thanks to Sea Saba for an amazing week of scuba diving. Underwater shots were taken with GoPro Hero 4 silver in 2.7K 60fps. Aerial shots were done with DJI Mavic Pro. Panasonic GH5 1080p 180fps for slow motion shots.

Joshua does a fantastic job capturing the majesty and magic of Saba, a true natural treasure. Watching this video brings back wonderful memories of our time on Saba in early June. The diving and the hiking are breathtaking, and the people of Saba are warm, friendly, and engaging. The great folks at Sea Saba helped make our vacation extra special. Thank you, Joshua, for bringing back fond memories of an outstanding experience.

This is such an Amazing Documentary of our Beautiful Island! This Majestic Island has been in my family for Decades, and I myself own a piece of land. I’m a direct descendant from the Johnson & Hassle families. I’ve never been to visit, but I’m planning on taking my son soon and I’m very excited to see this beautiful Island and learn more about where I come from, and my family. This is amazing! Great job! You captured the magic and spellbinding beauty of Saba! We just got back from our first trip their and dove with Sea Saba and saw many of the same beautiful sea creatures and you really captured WHY we dive. We didn't get to hike because we dove everyday so this has truly wetted our appetites to hike on our next trip which will be soon. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of poetic art, I will be viewing it many times as my mini getaway when I need a reprieve from life.
I've been diving for 30 years & you never see an octopus 🐙 out in broad daylight searching for food. I bet night dives there are off the charts ?

Great shots, Josh! However, the editing is subpar in my books. Slow motion is poor, awful shutter speed. Color grading is meh. I need more from you

Damn, dude...I hope you two know each other. Anyway, yes, too much slo-mo with too few fpm, BUT I thought the sequence of clips was well done and I am impressed with the drone footage. The winds there were way too challenging when I was there a week ago. Cheers!
@@hairballusa Haha yes we know each other. I did my best to get decently professional looking footage out of a gopro 4 but it's no easy task especially with low light and the terrible underwater auto white balance even with a red filter. Looking to get a housing for my GH5 for the future so the quality of my underwater shots can compete with the rest.
