Edge panel need not be turned off completely. You can chose to show up only on cover screen by using that option in edge panel settings. It is useful in cover screen for me atleast. Love my zf6 so far. Feels really refined from zf4. I'm ok with squared design and the current cover screen size. Really made it pocket able. They could have given s24u 45 watt charging. That's my only gripe. I'm sure the zf7 ultra will fix most things. Loving it.

Only noob Fold users turn off edge panels. You can set up your most used multiscreen (3 apps) and save it on your edge panel for 1 click access.

The Edge Panel is not a taskbar but each to their own. Why have a fold with 2 screens with you can do most of what you need with one!? 😜😆
