Grwat video! Crane Handpainted Bike Bell. Mine aluminum dome black with small white crane bird. Position for thumb use without moving hand from grip. Brass dome better resonance though. New Timber! Yew! Clampon dropbar cowbell gentle tingle loud enough for pedestrians on Golden Gate Bridge or for wildlife near Bay Area trails. San Francisco yell "On your left," some may not understand until it gets repeatedmore urgently since many languages spoken. Electra bells make personalizing a bike easy. My buddy last name is Garza and he said there was a heron bird bell for his Electra 9sp cruiser.

Garza is heron I think he said. Large Marine jogging on bridge with rail on river side not on traffic side. Blew by him where he could fall into fast moving traffic oblivious to my bell and yelling due to wireless headphones I did not notice until passing.

I like my brass "one dinger" it's about as light as you will get. 😉

I agree. Just the sound would not be the best

I just broke my horn and got a 2nd one now. Cant hear the bell when its windy and people think its a cellphone ringer.

Yes, sometimes, in wind conditions, the ringing gets lost, but this is why I always give a friendly little shout-out as well. 😉

@@GetOutArizona yelling vs horn. Horn wins every time. Only way bell is handly is if your trail riding and you have a loose bell just dinky the whole ride.

@@coolhawk2003 , Which is a horrible idea. I make my friend secure his when we ride together So I don't have to listen to it the entire ride. I should look into getting a horn. I wish I could find one that sounds like a blaster from Star Wars, but that's just me.

@@GetOutArizona if your riding a single trail it horrible idea not to be making noise. Good way to run straight into someone or someone's dog on a turn or heavy brush, especially down hill. First person has to have a loose bell or you have to ride super slow. Be safe out there

I took off my bell because they are useless. People I come across are wearing earbuds and can't hear th bell. I call out to them and even then they may not hear me.

Peter, I couldn't agree with you more. I find it disturbing that people wear their earbuds with such a high volume that they cannot hear me yelling at them that I am passing on the left, let alone the chime of a bell. I still have mine on my bike, though, because I love annoying my friends with it. This is probably why I ride alone most of the time, lol. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video, my friend, as well as leave your comments. Both are appreciated.
