One of the stories is as follows : A young girl confessed that the local monk was the father of her illegitimate baby, so the community went to the monk, accused him (and I think they left him the child to look after). All the monk said was : "Is that so". Later the girl admitted the baby was not his, so off they all trot to take back the baby, which they duly did and all the monk said : "Is that so." I have just listened a second time in order to make some notes and I just wanted to add a personal reflection (that I believe others share) on your very last sentence ....."but it's calling on us to go deeper and to re-discover our deeper purpose and mission for which we came from Heaven down to earth to achieve". I believe that that the Jewish mission in the current conflict is also to fight against evil. I never thought the day would ever come when I would have such thoughts, but whatever is going on in the world at the moment, the presence of evil has become very real and powerful.
