He has a 4:3 wide option so it can stretch his monitor. If it isn’t a wide option chances are you can’t do it unfortunately. You can check your console resolution settings though.

At first it may not seem like a big change, but trust me, just after a month of playing on 120hz you won't be able to switch back to 60hz. The only scenario where you may consider using 60hz if it' 4k or more. Hope this helps!

You probably have to make some changes in the console's settings. For me I had to set the input to hdmi from dvi but most of the time that should be set by default.

In my case it's MENU->GAME->FREESYNC

Hey! Choose either the freesync or amd's freesync option. Depends on what kind of monitor you have.
My monitor has only two options one is 1:1 and the other one says aspect
When you click aspect can you edit it?
