gee, that was a long journey for me, fallin' in love with bad guys-soft guys. Alastor from HH first, then got thrown to Harry Goodsir from the Terror AMC, and now here I am! Paul Ready is such a great actor, I can't ever describe how fascinating his acting is in reality. Love the video, thank you so much for collecting all of him💜
Can I just say I love the dynamic between Arby/Pietre and Lee as two merciless killers. On one hand, Arby can't really help himself, as he was genetically programmed by his own father to be a cold-blooded, violent monster and later on Arby begins to realise how much of a messed up individual he is, showing that there's still some humanity left beneath the killing machine. While Lee, on the other hand, is not as cold or as emotionless as Arby when he kills. In fact, he seems to revel in it, taking pleasure and satisfaction with each of his kills, while Arby feels nothing. This truly separates someone like Arby from a truly evil person like Lee. Still love both characters though. They're terrifying but ya gotta love em.
Of course Lee would be scared shitless of Pietre after what he did at his home. Every movement he made is like dragging a knife over Tess' throat, and one wrong glance would end up taking his new family. Unlike Lee, Pietre's capable of much worse when it comes to torture, because he lacked the empathy to know when to pull back. He won't be doing it for intel, he'd be doing it out of sheer rage.
oh FUCK i never realised it was kevin!!! fucking hell he's good - also him and diane morgan are in a scene together at 14:31 which is pretty mindblowing!
As much as I find the scene starting at 22:27 to be funny and a great scene for Lee's character, it does bother me. "It's not that you can't take life, I reckon you could take billions but it would have to be necessary. Killing me just isn't necessary." It's a dumb gamble on Lee's part but that alone would be acceptable, he's a psychopath and psychopaths are known risk takers. What I find unacceptable is the inconsistency of Wilson's character and Lee's bad reasoning. In the first place, Wilson has already shot Lee, the precedent has been set. Lee has no reason to think he won't do it a second time. Additionally, there is necessity for Wilson to kill Lee. Lee killed his dad, clearly has a grudge against Wilson and is likely to kill him as and when it suits, brandishes a pipe at Wilson with intent to beat him and intends to harm Wilson's friends. Seems a necessary kill to me.
This. If Lee had shown some professionalism and not been needlessly antagonistic, I don't think Wilson would have ever shot him, even if he occasionally made jokes at his expense. Assaulting Wilson was silly and emotional.
@@aloadofbollocks988 in the deleted scene tho he basically says wilsons position is temporary, my guess is the reason why he eas overly antagonistic was because he strongly believed Wilson wouldnt have been leader very long and Lee wouldve had protection from harm if the next leader came along
Your reasoning is correct, I just think it's within Lee's character to not get it - to make the mistake. He fails to properly consider what he might find necessary vs Wilson's own calculation
Probably because Lee is a seasoned killer, he doesn’t seem to have much self preservation, ether he doesn’t care or he’s a psychopath, no person with high self preservation would have approached Wilson in that bunker when he had the gun. He also knew Wilson was new to being “in” he knew Wilson still valued life and tried to keep people alive, Wilson’s change in attitude happens when he killed Roy or when he said he could live with vast numbers of people dying

PLEASURE???????????
@@kasimirmirHe really doesnt take any pleasure at all in killing.

"The Very Best Of Lee".. more like "Everything of Lee." :D
yes
It’s a clever way of saying every scene of Lee is the very best
True, since he’s not in it so much
@@mathiaswilhelm1902 its also a better title than every scene of lee
Seeing Paul Ready play a complete sociopath like Lee and then do a complete switch as Kevin from Motherland really makes me like him.
Met him at a work event last week, really nice guy.
@@davidjones3546 Would you say he was surprisingly down to earth and very funny?

And then ye got Mr. Goodsir and oh boy was that a trip.
Absolutely legendary actor. I came here to get meme clips and ended up completely forgetting about that just because of how entertaining paul ready is
The juxtaposition of Paul Ready's character in this and as Henry Goodsir in The Terror...I mean jeez, talk about polar opposites! (pun intended)
gotta love the bloke
based and swag
REAL
Reminds me of Stan Laurel
The new thumbnail is snazzy I love it
@@mathiaswilhelm1902 ty! Its styalised and j think it suits the series style
Lee is such a terrifying psychopath. He almost seems comically terrifying, but then you realize there are real people in the world like him.
