The Weeylite K21 have an output of 670 lumens, it can be controlled by Viltrox smartphone app available for both android and iphone. Probably the fastest lighting app to work with.

Broll of smaller products can sometimes be a bit rough :D A big soft keylight can help so you can move the product a big and get some nice reflections on the darker tech items. :D Keep it up!

Yeah, you would expect them to be, well, not great, but I too had the chance to review them and I quite like them. In fact, I keep using them regularly.

It's a hard choice for sure.
My TL30’S are now being used as permanent fixtures in the studio while the k21 gets more use as a portable light on sets and for product shots. Much thanks to the better connectivity between k21 and smartphone for adjustments.
The Godox lights for some reason needs to be re paired with the app every now and then.
How long does charge last on full power? Not very user friendly that the light has to be off to charge?

As with all battery powered tube lights they have to be charged, haven't found a way around that yet ;)

I had 2 of these, the first one gave up after about 2 hours and wouldn't charge again, sent it back I got a replacement like within a week which was good, but the second one lasted a day and same issue, it just wouldn't charge up, went through all the motions but would keep the charge returned that one too and decided I wasn't going for best out of 3, so got refunded.

Which are better these or the apature amaran tube lights?
It depends on what you're planning on using them for.
The K21 is $60 and more in line with the smaller tube lights like PavoTube 6C and Godox TL30 while the Amaran T2C is $199 - bigger and with a higher output. There's also a few extra bells and whistles like DMX control on the Amaran.
If you need those additional features and output the Amaran is the better option. If not...
