That does look good I have to say, it looks 'ready'. Hot glue and my slot cars are mortal enemies, I prefer ShoeGoo or a piece of duct tape over each end of the interior.
Looking forward to the post race feedback and possibly video.

You dont have to have racing numbers on the body? Baptism of fire. New car on a new track. Good luck. Hope youve got a mate that can film the race or practice.

No race numbers needed, just paint on the shell. Crazy I know!

Put a little beeswax on the body mount screws and they will not back out.

Hot glue sounds heavy, you should try UV glue =)
