There's a pit in the middle

I watched the older one a few days ago. I did LOVE the work but the pit in the middle is IMO a PERFET nice touch and here is my analysis:
Too big of a single platform means theres not enough pressure, once you just know you can press in one direction and always be fine or dash to get further ahead and at least out of "Death" range. You can't make his tornado push make you go to far or it imbalances the game-plays mobility like where you can be on the screen and when and feels too restraining.
Also if you add the feathers coming down then it makes that further unfair.
Yet you can't make the platform too small either.
Making TWO moderately sized platforms is the perfect compromise, it puts on the pressure "OH GOD THERES A PIT IN THE MIDDLE" but is ultimately manageable and the size of them plus the gap can be tweaked till it makes sense.
In the finish, I believe it will be alright and not present too much difficulty that you would need to shunt this away to "hard mode".
If the designer is as good as I think he is anyway. ;)

When we get to play the game the pit is gonna mess one of us up at least once.

@ロクサス ...the name in game is Subtank, but they still W-Tank and E-Tanks
(Edited) I love the fact that he transforms into his MHX version at half health. Also very clever.
Thought he looked different part way. Couldn't put my finger on why.

Arc Caravan the wings, he has actual claws at his feet now, those bird stripe something at his leg muscles, brighter and his buster has a design

Air fireballs, teleportation, spin kicks, falling downward punches, power geysers (or whatever akuma does when he punches the ground so hard it explodes)
the real problem is that Magma Dragoon literally need new sprites for all this stuff in the snes megaman X series style. thankfully an Black Dragoon is only a color swap away.

Storm Eagle is finally using his charged Storm Tornado.

It's a really strange to see few bosses using their charged version of his attacks, a good addition for the corrupted project i'd say so.
I keep on forgetting that fresh uploads don't have HD quality.

I really wish UA-cam would just automatically hold the video, even if it's set to publish, until at least 720p is ready. If I can't see it in any HD resolution, I'm leaving and coming back later.

Reminds me of that old supposedly fan made Resident Evil called Dark Biohazard, was never released and it turned out the maker just used a software to make tráiler videos and never really worked on a game

@JohnnyTheWolf Pretty sure they'll make it x1-x3 style, otherwise it would feel out of place. This might take a while though.
Most sprites for Magma Dragoon are ready if I recall correctly. Of course it will be in 16 bits style.
All is left to do is programming and functionality.
He should be able to parry Zero's slashes. With the original Sf sounds and all.

This looks sooo hype. The updated design change and new moveset after the first health bar is pretty damn cool.
Also i love how you can do an air hadouken too.
This is just beautiful, great job on those mechanics, must have been hard to do this all!
This man really drew entirely new sprites, attacks, and animations for Storm Eagle and really slapped an entire revamp of the original fight together in just a few weeks, all so he could keep putting out consistent content while he works on spoiler content for the actual game.
JKB is an actual legend at this point.
Not weeks, 3 days(around 22 hours). I only work on these bosses during stream time.

The fact that the character's mug shot will change based on their health is a very nice touch. Keep up the good work! I love what I'm seeing!
If Capcom remakes Mega Man X1 again with a boss rush that's like most of the Mega Man titles (except something like the original X1 and Mega Man & Bass), this is a good example of how to actually add challenge and show Justin from J's Reviews that a boss rush can be done better. (7-27-2020)

Oh my goodness, I just discovered this like maybe a month or two ago. I was thinking about snes rom hacks and wondered why I hadn't looked for MMX hacks, but looking at all this now I can see that it's not a simple game to recreate. But man this is so good. I've read the fandom and watched as many videos as I can, I didn't know how long it has been in the works but it's like a brand new thing to me. It's so good. Keep it up!

As soon as I saw the gaps in the platform, I knew that this fight will be painful
I like the original MMX buster added to storm eagle, great artistic nod to how he can use the charged move.

I absolutely love the fact that the classic boss theme is being used for the storm eagle fight
Hadouken can now be used midair! Also, it's not as strong as it used to be, but it being a fast charge attack with big hitbox is a good compensation for the input complexity... I assume you still need to do the hadouken?
He has a stronger hadouken when the hp bar is full, and the animation is different too
The fully "charged" hadouken looks pretty much like a Kamehameha

I love that the music is the OG "Megaman X Maverick Battle" instead of an original BGM; fits the SNES Mavericks much well.
I always liked Storm Eagle and his map, and would've appreciated if Capcom had made his pattern as challenging as this!

This is really neat. It's like we're seeing Eagle's proper potential, not limited the original's then-too-recent hardware, or Maverick Hunter's need to be faithful in most places.

Beating the MegaMan X mavericks as classes sounds like an amazing idea, which means the longer I get to hear to amazing soundtrack.

The pit in the middle wasn't really necessary, but well, i guess we can tolerate it in hard mode.
Good job.
I just have one single recommendation: Please add another health bar for bosses in hard mode, so instead of 2 bars, they have 3 bars, that way will be way more amazing.

X's neutral stance is on point!!!
Tfw level 3 pink shots actually do more damage than level 2 blue charge shots and you can cast hadoukens without needing full health; justice has been served this day.
