Would you consider doing true pre-orders? That way you would know exactly how many to order, you’d be paid before you place the order, and people wouldn’t run such a big chance of missing out.
I think the 1 thing that would create a problem is the pins since she cant be exactly sure how bad the grade ratio would be. But for prints and the tapes it should probably be fine ?

Yes that would be so handy, I missed out on so many of my favorites, I got a couple which I'm very greatful for 💕
Preorders are difficult because there are obviously wait times, so a month+ for pins, and then she needs to pack them which would be fairly stressful if she had a LOT of preorders. There's also the issue with shipping due to covid. Shipping is difficult at the best of times, but with how quickly things change (rates, shipping times, etc.) things may be different by the time the preorders arrive to her. I wouldn't do preorders while everything is still so uncertain tbh.
Maybe it’s weird, but this is literally my dream job. Packaging orders for an online store. I’m not a visual artist (I do basically all kinds of art and crafts besides drawing) but I still feel like I would adore working all day grading pins, printing and cutting stickers, making buttons...
It’s routine and maybe a little monotonous, but that’s my favorite!

I agree, the repetitive tasks are fun! It's not mentally taxing, so I can just chill, put on a tv show and work on it.

I feel like because you started vlogging on this channel and taking about the store is the reason things went so quickly. More people got to see the prep for the store and ofc got excited to buy things.
I was also livestreaming before it opened and there were 700 viewers. It probably reminded a lot of people about the store.
I was on there the very minute you opened, but by the time I got to the checkout 2 of the items I'd put in my cart already sold out. I couldn't get The Meeting, but at least I got the Kiki & Midna pin in an A grade. I later went back & got my Bayley Jae pin. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making everything is your shop affordable!!! I never thought I´d actually be able to buy from you without saving up a but; but was so happy that I could support you without breaking the bank. I'ḿ so delighted that you still sell ¨Bubbly¨ itś why I fell in love with your channel & art in general. I saved the art on my phone over a year ago & dreamt of the day I could draw like that. Now I can & your book helped me reach that goal! My health has been declining in the past 2 years my faith & art have been my sustenance. Thank you for starting me on such an incredible path I wouldn´t have made it without art & your channel!
Can I just say those first 3 minutes of store launch were stressful to get stuff in the cart and buy it before those things sold out xD
I couldn't get the meeting which was the one I wanted the most. 😭 I got there as soon as it opened but I hesitated a second too long.
Edit: yay for new add on to keep stuff in your cart. Thats what happened to me. I hesitated to ckeckout cuz I kinda wanted stickers and then when I checked out it took the print away cuz it was sold out even though I got there quick af.
Yeah. I took 10 minutes because I had trouble with my card and I couldn’t get fish boy, the meeting, or Lac.😢My heart was racing so fast.

I openend mine a few weeks ago and got my first order two days before my birthday. That was the best gift, I felt so happy! 😊😊😊
I really hope I can get to a similiar level like you someday. But for now I am a small artist here on UA-cam and Instagram.

I’m so excited I literally just got a Lac print like 2 seconds befor it sold out so I’m super happy it looks gorgeous like all the other prints of course unfortunately that was all I could get but I’m still super super happy
All 4 prints I wanted were sold out when I got there 20mins after the store launched. 😭 I’m so glad the store is doing so well tho that’s definitely something to be proud of.

My and my boyfriends future kids will be mixed, white and black, so I’m stocking up on any brown skinned babbus in your signed prints for nursery decoration when that time comes. Was so gutted. Got onto the site, did the order, went to pay...'The Meeting' was sold out...5 minutes in. Sorry but...it was in my basket so how did it get 'snapped up'? Please do another print run for it; I really had my heart set on it (along with 'Mountain Cat'). FYI I live in the UK and the shipping is a little steep ao I'd rather get a bundle of prints/pins I'm after
Quina-chan having it in your basket doesn’t reserve you a print or keep it from selling out.
@@Cinthia0423 Specifically day of! She fixed it for the next run. And yes, she said anything that got swiped up too quickly is getting restocked.
She even said it in the video that she feels bad because it happened so she’s giving a 10 minute hold if it’s in your cart, after 10 mins it’s fair game.
Sometimes people buy it much quicker than people who have it in their cart, so she put up and extension which lets you have 10 minutes to order everything else and buy it so it doesn’t get snatched up
I tried placing it, took a screen shot of 1:04pm MST, so it sold out in 4minutes or slightly less. I wanted Mr Bun Bun and The Meeting to go in my daughter's nursery/bedroom, it's woodland theme and those prints are PURRFECT. lol
I did grab Mr BunBun, and the washis , so I guess next time I can get The Meeting, and whatever new pins :) I love collecting all the Bun pins
With the advent calendar you should make the limit to atleast 2 as i feel like some people might want to buy one for themselves and another for a friend of family member.
Just a thing to consider
Especially with shipping prices itd be nice to be able to bundle your order with a friends 😊
It means twice as many shipping prices to figure out, and twice as many shipping box sizes. Smaller quantity of each means more expensive. There are also only going to be 500 advent calendars, so I feel like a limit of one is more fair. It's my first time doing it, so I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. In the future I can get more ambitious with it.

I've been meaning to order for a long time but never took the plunge because international shipping is expensive... :( but I decided to do it today! Half of my order was shipping but I don't care! It made me happy and maybe it will be a once in a lifetime thing (unfortunately because I LOOOOVE Lac but turns out that a lot of people do as well)

Placed an order for the first time. I’ve had my eye on Kiki and Midna pin, but was so excited about the mail cat washi tape. I make handmade cards and ADORE cats, so the tape will be used to seal envelopes, it’s perfect!! Look forward to a mail cat pin if that ever becomes available

I totally forgot about the launch until this video but I still copped those pre-order Christmas bois. Forgot the Washi tape so now I have two orders oops lol. Also Have you thought about maybe converting the meeting into a pin design? I know you’d have to simplify it a bit, but I think it would make a nice pin.
Literally missed a store opening and the things i wanted were sold by the time I got there so I set an alarm and one of the items I wanted was still sold out before I could get to adding everything to my cart! Super happy I got everything thing else though! Happy to support you and your art Baylee!

I missed out on a few prints I wanted and the kiki and midnda pin which I was finally going to grab this time around. I still got a few things I wanted though.
