I so appreciate the advice. Unfortunately due to the negative 0 cold snap both my hives have parished. I'm a sponge for information since I'm new( two months until one year) bee keeper.
@@amysinterests2608 Sorry to hear that, I know how it feels I lost all mine my first Winter. Beekeeping can be hard at time. Well Spring is on the way and now you have drawn comb. This is just my 2nd Winter and I'm down 4 from the start of it with about 2 more months to go. If you ever feel like it most nights of the week there is a beekeeper live chat going on. Also Fred Dunn puts out some great question and answer videos. Well don't let it get you to down, we try to learn what we can and set them up better next time. Blessed Days...
I love Fred Dunn, there's a few others I like to watch. I was prepared for a loss but it still sad. I'll be putting up wind brakes and better insulation for next winter for sure.
