To add to this they switched from a 3-4 base to a 4-3 base. So they not only cut their most veteran guy but now they need 3 off ball LBs instead of 2 in base D. Big trust not only in Cooper but also in Eric Wilson and Isiah McDuffie who were both backups in previous years and have been solid as well. Team chemistry and a good locker room goes a long way in building a winning culture.
Dont sleep on the Saints D. I think it may be closer than we think. If the Packers can continue to utilize that bully ball rushing dominance early on with Josh Jacobs and especially if we continue to see this version of J Love that takes care of the football it will be another 30+ W for the GBP
They have also more recently traded Preston Smith to the Steelers which allows Edgerrin Cooper and Van Ness to get more snaps and since this move the GB dense has improved significantly.
In the NFL coaching world. The NFL means Not For Long. these guys are constantly moving around the league. It is really a small community. of less than 500. They keep up with their relationships with each other. you never know when you will need help getting another job. Lafleur and Shanahan have to have at least texted on this. Campbell was a lockroom problem with the packers last year. that had to come up? yes, Cooper is going to be a stud if he isn't already. the best part of getting Cooper was the cap saving. We are getting basically the same player with a lot more upside for 1.5 of cap space. Campbell number was over 3 times that, and he was a pain in the ass. packers don't use 3 linebacker a lot. if Cooper took some time to develop, it wasn't going to be a huge deal. they still had Walker, McDuffie, and Wilson, who are still listed as the starters. they are Rotating in the four of them. Cooper was player of the week 15 with less than 50% of the snaps.
I think the coaches know the Saints can be streaky and should not be taken likely. But, it's a system they're following that sets a tone. Probably 17-0 at the half and although the Pack will probably give up 17 in the second half, but they'll also put up another 14 and ultimately win 31-17. Go Pack Go!
Hope Packers first big win is against Lions played them tough but kinda beat themselves both games if Fleur can get all 3 phases for 3 quarters could be Super Bowl bound Go Pack Go!🎉
42 to 24, yes we need a corner and another good d lineman. Also need to get another dominate guard, Green bay had a hard time running against the lions. We had a great game against Seattle but that is still not a gaurantee. Also they need to let the other two backs take more runs, let Jacobs rest. Go up by 2 against the saints rest Jacobs, Watson, Doubs. Let Wilson, Brooks, Wicks, Reed Play. Also get Reed off of punt returns, let Nixon take them, no need to risk Reed with that, has been a good returner anyhow.
No, we need Lukas Van Ness to perform as expected. Take that next step. And the other comment about a CB and a 3-technique D-lineman is also true, IMO.
I don't know anything but it seems to me that lately when they get up a couple scores, the Packers take their foot off the gas and let the other team make a game of it.
packers are still getting used to the new defense, the best is yet to come!

packers 35 saints 13
45 to 17 final packers
33 packers 23 saints
31-14
17-9 GPG
Another smart move was moving off from Preston Smith
GB needs another pass rusher.
No we need a corner and a 3 tech in the middle of the D-Line

Green Bay needs a coach to not throw the red flag at the stupidest times!
We got him, his name is Cox
Need?
Packers 42 Saints 10
42 - 17 pack
2025 draft CB , DT , EDGE , MLB, and offense OT , WR, and Kicker
Why WR? Who would you get rid of except maybe Watson?
@livinaftermidnight9651 add more WRs
We are fine with our mike, we should probably be drafting cbs, and that is really it, maybe a sam but we don't need a lot
Why a kicker? We have a good kicker now.
@@flowzone1289 future proof
Campbell planted his ass in 2023 with minor injuries. Thank God they dumped him.
Packers 37 20
Saints 13 - Packers 24
