I am a lions fan, there is going to a lot of stress between both fanbases because it's so much on the line. The nfc north title and the first seed: this is going to be a huge dog fight.
Just record the game, then look at the score later in the day. If your team won, then watch on tape delay. If your team loses, just move on. Zero stress.
As happy as I am for the win, we REALLY should have had two more TDs. The Lions would have, and we won’t beat them next week with the same number of wasted downs and possessions. Too many negative yard runs, or two yard runs when we need a lot more. That, and Darnold throwing high and hot. INTs are a threat, but it doesn’t matter if our own receivers can’t catch them. He’s done that a lot lately, and it has cost us TDs. Against the Lions, we can’t get away with it.

He's quarterbacking, but let's be real. The players at the core of this team's success are those two killers at receiver. Darnold has been a more than adequate replacement for Cousins though.
If we can't beat the Vikings then the season is over for us given all the defensive injuries. Packers played terrible and had the small chance closed by the free FG. Lucky for us we have a few defensive players coming back Iffy (CB), Jalen Reeves (LB), and hopefully Anzalone (LB) and that's it unless Hutch and Carlton Davis comes back for the SB

Rams fan here. Nice game. Both team played really well! I believe the Vikings should work out a deal with Darnold. It is essential to have an elite QB to be competitive in NFC north. It is too risky to try another QB when the current one is working great! I hope Darnold is not greedy and stay with Vikings. A great QB also needs good head coach and a good team. Matthew Stafford is a good example. His playoff record in the Lions is 0-3 and in the Rams is 4-1. Big difference. Staying with a good team is more important than a big pay day. Kirk Cousin, I am looking at you.....
I was glad to see Kirk Cousins leave. While he was at MN he was good, but only so good. He went after the big bucks and is not doing well. I think it would be wise for both the Vikings and Darnold to stick with each other. Darnold will be able to chase after the real big bucks especially if the Vikes go deep in the playoffs or even make the SuperBowl. But I do not think he will find the same level of success elsewhere. (Yeah he could make an extra 10 or 20 million somewhere else, but he will get at a minimum of 40 million if he stays where he is. Would the extra money be worth it?
Vikings gotta work on their 2PC defense. Teams don’t usually go for two in the situations where GB did in both games but it worked both times. They must figure we can’t stop it.

For anyone who knows anything about anything football related, it was not hard to see the Vikes could not do worse than Cousins with Sam. Sam has all the same attributes. Arm strength, vision, accuracy. Except he also has clutch and mobility. 2 things Cousins doesn't have.
Agreed, exceptional play. As a Jets fan that has watched Darnold closely since he came into the league, I believe that Sam has always had good pocket awareness with regard to knowing where pressure was coming from and where the openings were to step up into, it's just that between the terrible coaching he got (remember Adam Gase?) and terrible surrounding players, he didn't always understand what he was looking at defensively. With the coaching he got from Shanahan last year and KOC this year, that's all been cleared up and now the Vikes have a QB with what looks like elite pocket presence.

I agree. With that being said, we're going into a win or go home playoffs. We'll simply have to see how they hold up. But I think they have the ability to at least win next week against the Lions or win their wildcard match-up. This team definitely feels different from two years ago.

I've always said that the Vikings' offensive line needs repair, but man. I'm not sure what they're doing down there, but this offensive line has done an excellent job.

The Packers coach lost this game by not taking the points early in the first half. Points on the road against good teams is key to winning the game.
In the timeline where he takes the early points, Reichard hits the field goals/Addison doesn’t drop that TD pass. I.e. Vikes win either way sorry

Vikings fan here, if you thought I was stressed during this game, just wait until next weekend. It will be a flood of sweat and tears for me next weekend(and I’m sure the same will be for the rest of the Viking fanbase and lion fanbase)
I am a lions fan, there is going to a lot of stress between both fanbases because it's so much on the line. The nfc north title and the first seed: this is going to be a huge dog fight.
Just record the game, then look at the score later in the day. If your team won, then watch on tape delay. If your team loses, just move on. Zero stress.
As happy as I am for the win, we REALLY should have had two more TDs. The Lions would have, and we won’t beat them next week with the same number of wasted downs and possessions. Too many negative yard runs, or two yard runs when we need a lot more. That, and Darnold throwing high and hot. INTs are a threat, but it doesn’t matter if our own receivers can’t catch them. He’s done that a lot lately, and it has cost us TDs. Against the Lions, we can’t get away with it.

This would have been a different game if Lafleur had gone for the FG instead of the first down in the 1st quarter. No need to go for it there - points on the road against a 13-2 team are like gold. If you've been watching the Packers the last few games, you know they made a lot of unforced errors.

He's quarterbacking, but let's be real. The players at the core of this team's success are those two killers at receiver. Darnold has been a more than adequate replacement for Cousins though.

Rams fan here. Nice game. Both team played really well! I believe the Vikings should work out a deal with Darnold. It is essential to have an elite QB to be competitive in NFC north. It is too risky to try another QB when the current one is working great! I hope Darnold is not greedy and stay with Vikings. A great QB also needs good head coach and a good team. Matthew Stafford is a good example. His playoff record in the Lions is 0-3 and in the Rams is 4-1. Big difference. Staying with a good team is more important than a big pay day. Kirk Cousin, I am looking at you.....
I was glad to see Kirk Cousins leave. While he was at MN he was good, but only so good. He went after the big bucks and is not doing well. I think it would be wise for both the Vikings and Darnold to stick with each other. Darnold will be able to chase after the real big bucks especially if the Vikes go deep in the playoffs or even make the SuperBowl. But I do not think he will find the same level of success elsewhere. (Yeah he could make an extra 10 or 20 million somewhere else, but he will get at a minimum of 40 million if he stays where he is. Would the extra money be worth it?

I said before the season started that Darnold would do well with our offense. This is beyond anyone's dream though. Vikings v Lions for the 1 seed - Primetime game of the year.
For anyone who knows anything about anything football related, it was not hard to see the Vikes could not do worse than Cousins with Sam. Sam has all the same attributes. Arm strength, vision, accuracy. Except he also has clutch and mobility. 2 things Cousins doesn't have.

Agreed, exceptional play. As a Jets fan that has watched Darnold closely since he came into the league, I believe that Sam has always had good pocket awareness with regard to knowing where pressure was coming from and where the openings were to step up into, it's just that between the terrible coaching he got (remember Adam Gase?) and terrible surrounding players, he didn't always understand what he was looking at defensively. With the coaching he got from Shanahan last year and KOC this year, that's all been cleared up and now the Vikes have a QB with what looks like elite pocket presence.
