I think the major issue for the lions wont be the offence, but the Vikings defense. The vikings defense is better than bills, even more so since the lions have lost some players. The last time the vikings played them, the lions were healthier than they are now and it came down to a last second field goal. It's going to be a very tight game.
Most of these commentators don't watch the bulk of the games or follow many teams. The easy way to tell is to see how they talk about your team and division. These guys have a crew of people that give them notes and stats and they fill in the gaps with their knowledge of the game.
