Met him and his friends down the shrimp and winkle stall a few times. I was only a kid then they always dropped me a few Bob. I had nothing but respect for them. They would look after people. RIP Charlie. If I ever met Eddie I would definitely buy him a drink.

I knew ronnie dimond Sr down in Finsbury and he knew the richardsons and he said that electric shock treatment was more of a laugh than anything else

They didn't "torture" anyone the only so called evidence as the testimony of the so called victims professional con men who stood to gain financially if Charlie went down. He'd also get immunity from prosecution. There was no medical or forensic evidence no "black box"was found at any of Charlie's premises. The prosecution had to borrow one from a museum and tell the jury that it would have been something similar. The prosecution went through 144 potential jurors to find 12 who promised to find him guilty whatever the evidence 😅

I've got the exact same Megga (So called torture device) It's identical. My Dad had it for years and left it to me. The one from the Richardson trial is in the National Crime Museum.

The sentence poor charlie recieved was a disgrace then, and still is today, there was NEVER any torture, as proved by the liar retracting his statement. Wonder if it was due to him bugging the PMs office. RIP Charlie you were amd will always be a LEGEND

@dds94 whos lives did he ruin, no evidence at all to suggest this, just false statements put in by folk pressured by the plod, to which they all retracted after the fact, the electric box that was planted by police, was proved in court to give less of a tickle than the hold on as long as you can old fair ground buzzing machines, check ya facts before you believe the lies fed by eternally corrupt government and its false proxies, ie papers and news outlets.

If he had been born 40 years later he would probably have been a tech millionaire or something by now.
He was vastly more intelligent than what he's playing at here. This is just the 'celebrity villain' answering
expectations like Frankie Fraser used to. He had some very advanced ideas for his time and in no way
ever wanted the publicity the Krays craved.

What you talking about, he was a scrap metal dealer with an extortion racket on the side who got greedy and fell for a mining scam in Africa. If he didn't create things and file patents in the 1960s then what makes you think he'd do that in the 2000s. There is absolutely nothing he created or added value to that would suggest he'd have been anything other than a criminal if he was born 50 years later.
