I really like this library and will be buying it but the first thing I will do is get rid of that club foot bass drum which just makes all the patches sound the same and masks the subtleties between the patches. A bit of rhythm/syncopation would be welcome and yes I know this is techno and I love Airwaves work but variety is the spice of life. I don't think it show Unify at its best. JMHO don't hate me for it. 😍
In most cases the kick is triggered from an Arp pattern that can be modified in seconds. You can also mute the kick layer if a club kick isn't your thing. Cheers!!

I realise that the beat can be changed easily and my comment was not meant as a criticism but rather an observation on having variety when showcasing a library. Admittedly this one is quite genre targeted which generally has the stomp beat to it but the other patches are what really make the library and I felt the stomp overwhelmed them. I am listening on a high end headphone system and the bass came across as a bit excessive and fatiguing especially after an hours listening. However I do appreciate that when playing with these patches in Unify can become very engrossing and somewhat hypnotic, I do it myself! I play many genre of music and maybe I am now just getting too old. LOL. I plan on having a lot of fun with this library and as I mentioned no criticism was intended just some feedback. 😎

Can you look into Nexus3 not getting saved in Unify?
Is Nexus3 not working with version 1.0.12? I thought we fixed this.
The sounds (minus the drums) are great and I would jump on this but I’m confused what exactly you’re going for here. I am not at all interested in drums from this plugin, sure it’s impressive that you can implement drums but sound wise it is certainly not what I’m looking for. That being said it appears half this library would go unused. Are you going for a live drum looped plugin with synth integration for stage performances or a killer multi-layer synth sound? If you focused more on the latter I can see this picking up speed.
Hi Andres, Airwave wanted to attempt to create a library in Unify using Serum for 99% of the sounds. Most libraries where synthesis makes the drum sounds are rather weak and "typical" while the hihats, shakers, snares, claps and even toms & kicks are in your face and sound like a final track (or better than many I've heard to be honest). It's a ton of work to have a vision and carry it to this point. It is what it is and can be easily modified by changing the ARP patterns or the sounds. It's also one of his main streams of income during this pandemic. There is probably far more here to like than you're giving him credit for creating.
What controller is that you are using with all the lights on please ?
I think Airwave is using Ableton+push and pioneer DJ equipment when he is on tour. And not Unify and logic .
You are correct but Unify isn't exactly ready for the DJ floor yet - when we have assignable mute/solo and other enhancements we have planed added in the future, it will be.
And AIRWAVE will help make that it is!

Do you need to own serum to play them patches or is it just sampled within unify ?
Hi Ryan - this is a library made for Unify + the Serum and Serum FX plug-ins. So you need to own Serum/Serum FX + Unify for this library to work. Unify can expand the capabilities of a plug-in considerably and this library shows that when 8 instances of Serum are playing at once to make the grooves you are hearing. Cheers.

Hi Chris! Absolutely, but not all will be Unify+. The next library (a hiphop/chill based library) does not require any additional plug-ins. We will bring out both libraries that take your purchased plug-ins to new sonic heights but we'll also bring out libraries that will continue to bring out new sonic playgrounds for Unify all by its amazing self. Hi Steve! I'm simply using the virtual sliders to send MIDI CC # information to Unify. I have the 8 knobs assigned to different MIDI CC#s. You can use any MIDI controller that has knobs or faders on it (faders work better). Even a little Korg NanoKontrol will work - just select "MIDI Learn" in the little dot by each knob and move a fader/knob on your controller and Unify learns it. It will remember it in its settings from then on. Cheers!

@@stevegriffiths566 - There are a nice number of BPM Patches where you play a single key and a techno track comes out. You can then open up the Blue Arpeggiator and change things around to make the groove more personalized or, completely different. Watch the Tuesday Tips #6 video I just uploaded. I go exactly into this as to what you can do with these once they are playing out of your speakers. 😁😁😁

$39 for Unify users too ? or just for serum ? I hope the answer is that its free for Unify users!
It is $39 and you receive 245 Patches for Unify and 133 Patches for Serum. This is not a free library. This took close to 1/2 a year to create and develop and it is one of Airwave's main possible sources of income due to all his tours and DJ performances being cancelled. I hope you understand this level of work is worth paying for and our asking price is as reasonable as we can make it for over 378 patches.
paid expansion libraries for unify ? come on, we thought all additional sounds for unify will be free
Um, no my friend. Lots of sounds will be free but my business is making libraries for a living. If $39 for months of hard work building over 370 patches is too much then I don't know what to say...
