Great film we have booked one of the hotels you have reviewed this will be our 15 th time to Dubai so we like the new one hotel at the creek so thanks keep up the great videos ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️👍👍👍
Great review. I flew first class NRT-DXB-JFK in August 2019. Wonderful experience. Looking forward to my next flight which is NRT-DXB-LAX business class in March 2020.
Good video. Having benefited from the Emirates Chauffeur Service to Heathrow a couple of times, I believe that the pick up distance limit is 70 miles not kilometers. Your video makes me look forward to flying Emirates again as soon as I can.
Great video! I’ve flown with Emirates for five trips now, all from Manchester via Dubai and on to destinations in Asia - Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. (I have generally had some time in Dubai on the way home.) All the trips were in economy, however - I dream of doing Emirates Business Class just once! Even in economy, however, the Emirates product is excellent. The contrast between the US carriers flying west from Manchester (e.g. United to Newark in tired old Boeing 767s) and Emirates flying east in nearly-new A380s, with better service and all for less money, is remarkable.
I have a question I’m going to Birmingham,UK from Asia and I have booked business class so I have complementary pick up and I booked one but how will they contact me ? Cuz the number I provided was the one I use in my country so how will they contact me while I’m in UK ?
Hi, just found your channel and its really helping me plan for my upcoming trip to the UAE. Just curious, for porters and the like, do you tip and if so how much? Is it expected?
Proper dubai, can you travel from London todubai, stay one week, and then fly on the Eight days, fly to doha, and then, from Doha, to go back to dubai, stay 3 days, and fly back to London, and after 3 weeks, fly to Dubai, stay for 3 days, and depart from Dubai to manila, would i be able to get transfer cars, even in manila?
Hoping to fly business class from Manchester to Bangkok on January 1st 🤞🙏🤞🙏 virus permitting. Just a question to you all out there. Will Emirates provide a chauffeur driven car to Manchester Airport from my home in Crewe, Cheshire to the airport and on my return (28 miles)
I’m flying Emirates business class next week (never flown business class before), I’m taking advantage of their limo service from Essex to Gatwick, can I ask you do you tip the drivers if so how much thanks
No need to tip if you don't want to - you have just paid a huge amount of money for the flight including the limo service so no need to feel that you have to! Having said that I normally give the chap £10 to say thank you if he has a nice attitude.
I reserved a car but am wondering if I will receive a call the day before to let me know exactly what time the car will arrive to pick me up. How does it work?
Before now I have received both emails and text messages the day before to confirm pick up times etc. When they arrive on the day they will also call you on the number you have given.
Tipping in Dubai is definitely not mandatory like it is in the US and not as expected by staff as it is in London for instance. Obviously all waiters etc are more than happy to receive a tip but really up to you if you want to give a few dollars or not. Complementary airport porters like the one in the video or staff at hotels helping with luggage to your room I would normally just give AED 10 for their help.
If you fly into or out of Manila , Emirates Business, there is NO chauffeur service available. I had to get a taxi, at a bloody extortionate rate. Manila is the very worst airport I have ever had the misfortune to visit.
I've flown economy to/from Thailand 3 times. Emirates are great. I've gone economy but got an upgrade last trip from Dubai to Bangkok. Superb. From now on I will take business from Paris CDG to Dubai leg and back. Why? Because the Arab passengers in economy are a NIGHTMARE.
Just popped over from your DIY channel - How many other channels do you have in the Proper empire! ;-)
I have really missed those A380's (up stairs). Hopefully - all being well my friend and I will be on those A380s to Dubai and Amman.
My favorite airline 🇦🇪Emirates
I followed the clue left in the DIY cupboard and ended up flying first class. Sweet

Thank you!
We go every year Heathrow > Bangkok Emirates Business Class ,,, cant beat it

Very interesting, thank you for sharing.
Flying Emirates in February 2020 yay can’t wait. Won’t be business class though☺️...
Excellent review...the bar area on the A380 .makes a huge difference...great to stretch your legs rather than spend all the time in a seat.
How much does it cost to reserve a single seat on the Emirates A380 , please ? 💰💺🛫😷

Tom Burke you should get the Skywards members and then you could upgrade using air miles instead of paying
Like it. Worth the extra £ in your opinion??
Wow! Thought planes like that were only in films.
Well at least you're unlikely to get arrested doing DIY 😁
Looks like a nice way to travel! 😀

This is me in 2 weeks. I cant wait!!!!
Nice one!
Great video!!

I couldn't agree more!
Very nice Video

Yes, I believe at Manchester, Emirates will pick you up and drop you off up to a 50 mile radius included in your ticket.
Many thanks for you swift reply, stay safe and take care 🙏🙏
Really good review

I've always wondered. Do you give the driver a tip. If so, how much?
Generally I would give a 50 AED tip but you really don't need to as you have already paid for the service in the price of the ticket.
did you paid the chauffered taxi or free even in lincolshire

I'm going to Dubai, business class, next year. Could you discuss when and how much to tip in Dubai, including the airport porters. Thanks

be aware if you book business class using your miles you dont get the chauffeur service, and its not made obvious during the booking process
Good point
Awsome

Aren't you the DIY bloke?
Yep
