As Sinkiang, go the route of cooperating with the other communists, and eventually do the Marxist Orthodoxy path. 2. Use one of your playthroughs as a achievement guide for Battlecry, Panda-monium and Make a Man Out Of You 3. Play as Yuunan, get the fascist advisor, fully change into fascist, and join either the Axis or Japan. 4. Cooperate with the Communists as Shanxi and go the Social Democracy path, this is just so you can complete the last path of the Central Secretariat path. 5. If you feel like it, do the same thing as #3 but with a different warlord, with a democratic advisor this time, and join the Allies after usurping the national government (spice things up even further by doing it on non-historical). 6. Form the Turkic Union as Sinkiang, may require you to go fascist and wait for operation Barbarossa to happen. Just some ideas cause the Warlords are essentially (focus tree wise) the same nation copy and pasted 5 times, and it would get rather repetitive doing the same routes with each of them.
out of all the warlords in china I for some reason from Sinkang the most interesting, despite the backwater start. going down the path of proclaiming a rival government. playing a predatory game of clashing against everyone in china and possibly using the soviets early on to invade tibet for more land / a puppet. out of all the chineese tags what makes it so interesting is that it can form turkestan getting a lot of cores. with the downside of needing to beat the soviets, but that can be done relative easily when germany is invaded and most of china is under your control. just the first 4 years of the game can be quite a grind.
If you can hold the harbours every Japanese Naval invasion is logistically doomed. You only have to worry about stabilising, holding then pushing the front-line northeast.
Chinese manpower is incredible. Too bad everything else is terrible. The EaW team is working on their China equivalent right now, actually, that will be nice.
