The important is to have a good pressure of Nitrogen in them.I can remember a good Chief Mate that I worked with he was checking daily the pressures there.
Hey nick , what exactly is the purpose of the Double Shut off valve which I believe is vertically above the ESD valves on this ship ? And why are they called “double shut off “??
Hello the double shut Off valves are part of the cargo piping system and is a system which can be operated only manually.I believe the people who wrote the code thought ahead that these need to be manual since operators can not make mistakes with them.It is a second form of protection.
Very interesting and useful information from your videos. Please continue..
Very helpful during my exam

Hi nick, the vedio is very useful. I am an engineer from a lng terminal, hopefully wannna see the connecting with loading arms😬.
Hello Michael thank you for you comment.
At sea the pressure of 5bar in the loading line can also decrease due to low ambient temp. Correct me if I am wrong. Great video. Thank you
Yes you are correct my friend.
Kalimera Captain Niko, can you make some videos about reliq. plant, GCU and engine room tour. Thanks for nice videos
Interesting but I have no background in the field so I understood little. But the weather looked nice
It would be good if you explain the cargo piping system of your ship on the diagram from the manual.
Good day will make one day something about the requested item.
In hot climate it is better to pressurize with 4 bars because it expands due to the heat. Is this right captain?
The important is to have a good pressure of Nitrogen in them.I can remember a good Chief Mate that I worked with he was checking daily the pressures there.
I wonder, hose handling crane is used at LNGC. if it is true, how is it used?
Yes it is used for various reasons picking up of spool pieces for sure.
Captain what u wer calling the distant piece? STP?
SDP
Who will connect the pipes when loading or unloading the LNG?
nice
cheers

Hello Simeon it takes about 14 to 16 hours load and discharge.
