Hey, Polo, if you really and truly would like to care less about what people think about you and be more confident, have a look into Stoicism, a really wonderful philosophy. There are plenty of videos here on UA-cam about it, I find Einzelganger and Daily Stoic to be my favourite, but seriously in small and gradual ways, it helps. Peace and love brother x
The first line always got me. Life is a waterfall we're one in the river then one again after the fall. To me I just get we're all the same. Everyone is equal and peaceful just floating along happily and then you hit the waterfall of life and everything becomes chaotic. You're out of control tumbling crazy things happening and in a very short amount of time it's over and then we're all equal and peaceful again. There's a lot of depth in a lot of their songs.
I agree with you about opening your mind up to new things. I’m listening to music I never ever would have considered two years ago. I guess I can thank Covid for that. Loved this song by SOAD. Enjoyed your comments as always.😊

I saw them back in the day on an incredible lineup with Body Count, Kid Rock, Korn and Metallica at the old original Mile High Stadium in Denver. System of a Down definitely held their own.
SOAD is like if Joey Jordison’s drumming creativity was turned into lyrics, if that makes sense. it’s creative, it’s mesmerizing, it’s beautiful. You feel Joey’s double basses in your soul like how you feel Serj’s lyrics.
This is what I love about rock music: lyrically it's old school hip hop, back when the genre had a conscience, spoke on social issues, about reflection, hardships, about loss and redemption. Rock music has all those elements and then some, which is why it's easy for me to relate.
I'm the same way bro as far as jealousy and envy, I have always just been happy for other people when good things happen for them. Jealousy is a young man's practice anyway. Lol

I'm actually glad you weren't able to process the video because you were focusing on the song. That actually sets you apart in a very refreshing way from other reactors. I almost dread watching an Aerials video reaction, because too many reactions get distracted by the strange visuals of the video and forget to pay attention to the song. The band has since confessed they're disappointed in the final product, and that it doesn't adequately do it's job of furthering the concept they had in mind. There were too few context clues for the audience to fully understand it, and that time and budget restraints impacted it's overall quality. It's supposed to tell the story of a circus freak who's a naive child longing for the same stardom of the flying acrobats in his circus that audiences are always amazed by. In his limited imagination, the circus freak kid daydreams of becoming an acrobat one day himself, and assumes he will become a celebrity who gets fame, fortune, and supermodels. The scenes where the kid has his entourage, women, and everyone trying to satisfy him are his fantasies of what life must be like for an acrobat. Like I said, it didn't fully execute the base idea behind it and too many context clues were left out for audiences to follow along with the core concept. It devolved into a slapped ass project that focused too heavily on the shots of the cars, models, and photographers without connecting enough of the other dots for the viewer to comprehend the message.
