I'm happy somebody mentions this. The samurai battles were great and brought something new to the gaming world, but everything else is just a rehash of Ubisoft game mechanics.
The ultimate "are we there yet" game. The crash you experience after a few hours of playing it and realizing this is it and you have 40-60 more hours to go hits like a freight train.
Did not finish it. World is gorgeous, sound design is excellent. But combat gets very repetitive and boring and I REALLY do not dig the story, not my cup of tea. It's hard to play when I am with mongols on that one =))
@@idontknowdontjudgeme3695 I would like to join then in their conquest of Japan, instead of listening to all that "honor" shenanigans and "oh no! you can't kill stealthy, this is not a warrior's way!" :) That is a very simplified and idiealized version of Japan's history :)
Finally, reluctantly decided to try this after all the praise and man I gotta say,.. probably the most overrated game ever. The game design is awful. You save some people, and they sit down, then you sprint to the next town on your horse and they*re already there telling you how they got there. Or the calls the enemy archers make to warn their friends, they still do those calls even when they're in a 1v1 with you. or the first sensei you meet who basically lets you walk into an ambush for you to get killed to "test you" in the middle of a war and invasion where most of your people got killed off and you're the last hope oh and this sensei can teleport just spawning on a cliff you have to climb up or down. Nothing makes sense. Coming off playing TLOU2 remastered there are just so many little things that add up and put it in the ok game category for me. But Sucker Punch is nowhere near the level of Naughty Dog or Insomniac Games which are truly top tier developers.
Haven’t watched the video yet. before watching, I’ll admit, the stealth in this game is ass, and the following missions suck. But it’s still my favorite game.

The dialogue can be extremely bad in this game. The presentation of the story overall is weak.
I like this game and think it's good. The story, graphics and combat are all great. It fall short for me tho in the enemy variety and the open world.
Slightly its highly overrated
I'm not tryna have an army of people on me lmao
my new game is taking a drink every time you mention red dead, im passing out. good stuff man keep it up
I know Lol
Hey ScorpionWag, would you mind if I suggest a game for you to cover, The Darkness Games?
Thank you for the suggestion, I will be sure to check it out soon, I have a game lined up that is already set in stone, but I will take a look at it
@@ScorpionWag alright thx ✌️
Haikus are boring
I tried my best to avoid them
Microwave
Dropped the game after roughly 6 hours. Although the combat was great, there was no way it was going to hold me until the end.
Real

I will be there watching
Totally right. I bought it played and sold it.

what do you mean with the mongols, as in their motives, your nationality?

Maybe finish the game? The narrative changes and mmm the story progresses
@@FreelancerND Thats the point of the game. Realising that honor isn't always the way. Jin continues to be a ghost and not a samurai after the ending.
@@idontknowdontjudgeme3695 I don't like the storytelling. I don't enjoy the story itself. Why should I force myself? 🙂
