  • All the rules given to us from our Creator are there for our benefit and not the benefit of our Creator. The warnings and rules against idolatry are not in place because our Creator is a person who will become angry and vengeful towards you. Our Creator created us such that idolatry causes pain and suffering and therefore the warnings and rules are for our benefit.
I do pray in the name of Jesus. I don't pray in the name of Steve. I did invite Jesus into my life when I did a baptism in 2014. I did not invite Steve into my life. I did decide to practice making Jesus my king on October 12, 2023. I did not decide to practice making Steve my king.

If you called me by the wrong name I'd lovingly correct you.

God in islam is what you’ve described except for the last part. He is limitless, merciful, most loving, kind, great forgiver, generous, etc. look at the 99 names of God in islam which would describe him. He is so forgiving that if you made a huge sin and intended not to return to it, and regret your mistake. He will forgive you. He loves you more than anything. He says that only the one that doesn’t want good in earth and does very bad things. Also, the one that intentionally doesn’t believe in him and associates partners knowingly of his presence goes to hell. He also accepts all kinds of people.

Your point about islam kept me wondering, you were saying that God should not be bothered to have a credit.
And after thinking deeply about this, i would say i disagree with you. I would like to highlight that i just don’t think God cares about having credit (he is far more grater),he doesn’t allow to associate partners with him, because it is about something deeper. if God allowed any partners with him whether it is a man, a cow, or a statue, it would change the status and importance of God. Consequently the importance of his rules in the eyes of people. Thus, it would disrupt the the religion. Letting alone people will follow the instructions of people who have created these partners. Men will start to interpret of how God is and how he want us to live. And eventually disrupt the world more with their own rules because humans are subjective. They will not have the best point of view on certain aspects. We need rules about how to live life and that’s whats Quran is giving. Although, most of muslims are not following throughly and sometimes wrongly. But at least, they are following the ground rules. Not drinking alcohol, not doing drugs, not stealing, not abusing, etc. Also, taking good virtue’s like hospitality and charity to poor families.
I don’t know if it makes sense

I just want to point out that a historical figure is not a man, cow, or statue.

A historical figure is an interpretation we can attempt to relate with.
