just found your channel and binge watching them lol. i have 2 sets of twins biological and one in the middle and would lovvve to do this bc im missing the newborn stage soso much but i dont think im mentally stable to give them bk😢 i have severe attachment and prob wouldnt work for me
Yes you will definitely get attached and it is pure heartbreak when they have to go. Definitely takes an emotional toll. But man I love when they are here! You sound like one busy mama!!
Definitely can be an issue! My work supplies me with Family Leave which just actually comes out of my sick leave. I burn through that until their daycare kicks in. Fortunately my husband is home for a little bit and my mother in law is helping out as well so it allows me to work in the meantime. I try to schedule all of their home visits for after i am off from work. They do have medical appts. as well and if I can't get a late appointment, I have to break into my leave again. Keep in mind most of the kids have visits with their bio parent(s) and that is usually during work hours. Sometimes our social worker helps with transportation.
Subscribed immediately after watching this video only, what an incredible opportunity to learn about fostering
