Even if palestinian traced back to essua, the covenant was confirmed in jacob. Essau was not in the covenant. Thats why after leaving his fathers house, his story became peripheral, only mentioned as the ancestor to some of the isralites tormentors.

I hate to contradict Dr. De Young, but as I was doing more research into the fall of Jerusalem, I discovered General Allenby did not appoint Hussein al-Husseini the first mayor of Jerusalem. He was the current mayor, actually the last Arab mayor under the Ottoman rule. He's the one who wrote a letter of surrender to the British forces. He died of pneumonia a few weeks after this incident.
And his nephew, Amin al-Husseini, was not a cute 11-year-old tyke. I don't think this incident even happened, because Amin al-Husseini was born in 1897 and would have been 20 years old at the time. He had already seen military service. He did become the Mufti of Jerusalem, and I am still researching the Bosnian connection of Esau fleeing there after 70AD. Haven't found anything yet.

@@katherineb9815 All the information I've found so far indicates no one really knows what happened to the Edomites. In Judaism, I think the rabbis say they wound up in Rome and became the Catholic Church and Christians. Other sources think they became Germany. But no one really has solid evidence. That's why I was so happy to find this video. I thought Dr. DeYoung had some info with sources, but I haven't found anything to corroborate it yet. If anyone knows anything with proof, I'd be happy to hear it.

Hello, God bless you. I decided to check the scriptures given in the video, but also to Google stuff concerning the topic in the video concerning the Amalekites. I did read some articles concerning this topic but ran into something in my search that you probably know already. In Genesis 14:7 the Amalekites are mentioned during the time of Abraham, way before Esau was even born. Now I have read what some think may be going on here, but I have to say it seems like the Amalekites that Israel has had problems with may not be the grandson of Esau, the Amalek of Esau's son. But I'm not sure. Can you help? It's confusing because in Genesis 10 the Amorites which are mentioned in Genesis 14:7 are also mentioned in Genesis 10, but no mention of the Amalekites in Genesis 10. I guess it could be what one person mentioned, saying maybe Moses meant something else when writing this. Thanks
You must remember that MOSES is the author of the Pentateuch and as such, he is referencing in Genesis 14:7 "the field of the Amalekites" to his contemporary readers of the 5 books, giving a reference that they would identify with looking backwards.
The Amalekites are from the book of Samuel when God told King Saul to kill them all. To not leave one child left bc they were worshiping idols and sacrificing babies and children to Mullock. Saul didn’t obey that how in the book of Esther you see Haman an agagite original from Amelekites. He try’s to destroy the Jews and Esther is called upon to save her people. Esau is Edom the Edomites which I thought was closer to Jordan and southern Israel or by Petra. I don’t remember learning Esau was near Gaza. The Philistines were there remember? And. He is Biblically illiterate. Revelation 12, 6, "the woman fled into the wilderness", was about the Christian's protection from the great tribulation in 70 AD. It was for the Christian's protection who heard Jesus' words to "flee the city", and historically speaking that's exactly what happened. The Christians escaped Jerusalem. Rev. 12, 6 was not intended for the Jews as he claims it was. He is also claiming the Abomination of Desolation is in the future when it was fulfilled in 70 AD.
