Make Pure Lavender Essential Oil with LeTime 500mL Distiller

- Through steam distillation pure lavender essential oil and hydrosol are made with LeTime 500mL distiller. It took 20minutes getting 2-3mL of essential oil and 100mL of hydrosol. Hydrosol has ~5pH, and it is a little acidic which means its fresh and premium quality.

I have the 500 ml glass distiller set up. But for some reason, when I try to make essential oil. My water is clear and i don't see any oil. My water just comes out clear it's not cloudy.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you very much for your comments! In this video, a 500mL kit has been used. We have 2 SKUs of the kettle distiller according to the volume of steamer where the flowers are placed. I believe there are similar product available on Amazon as well. For small batch production, 100mL will be good enough.

Do you have to use a separator or can you separate in another way?
Oil will float on top of hydrosol for most cases. It is not have to but having a separator can make work much easier. Separator can separate oil and hydrosol meanwhile it continuously collect distillate while working.

Hi, the oil hydrosol separator is for separating oil and water both liquids. You can use coffee filter to separate slag from oil.
