You can't counter Gojo's domain with simple domain because Unlimited Void paralizes you IMMEDIATELY once it hits. It's basically a one hit K.O. type of move, once Gojo casts his domain it's over, there's nothing you can do.
You can cast it preemptively but it’d probably break after a short while because of how strong Gojo’s domain is
Well its less that but the sheer perfection of his domain allows it where you wont even be able to properly use a simple domain fast enough

@@esmer1018 I'm not spoiling shit, Joel mentioned how simple domain was created to counter domains and he gave the impression to Jerry that even gojo's domain could be countered, which isn't the case. You get immediately paralyzed once gojo casts his domain.

Mechamaru isn't giving up years of his life. He's giving up years of stored energy (ie. he's nearly 18, so he had 17+ years of stored cursed energy to supercharge him during this fight). If he runs out, he doesn't die; he just loses the supercharge.
But when was that explained?

@@mijanhoque1740 In this episode, when Mahito is speculating about killing Mechamaru before healing him, Geto cautions him about this. If you violate a pact, you will, at minimum, lose whatever gain you obtained by making that pact. Mechamaru's pact is a crippled body for enhanced cursed energy--him being healed means that his side of the pact is broken and it follows the rule Geto described.

Honestly, Mechemaru and Robot from Invincible almost have identical stories.
1.Both were born with bodies that didn't allow them to have a normal life.
2.Both had to compensate for their weak bodies by using robots as stands ins.
3. Both Wanted to fix themselves in order to be with the girl they loved
4.And both collaborated with villains in order to receive the means to do so.

We have nothing but the greatest Shonen Anime has to offer for the next 16 episodes. Nothing but fire fights. This was INCREDIBLE animated, and I cannot wait for how blessed we're gonna be with the rest of this season
Sucks that Mechamaru had to go, I wonder how strong he could’ve been with his fully healed body, since he’s like Iron Man, Sasori, and Gundam put together in one. His Heavenly Restriction is also the complete opposite of Toji and Maki’s, gaining insane amounts of cursed energy in exchange for his body. In terms of CE output he’s probably Top 5 in the entire verse.
will proper training, he would probably become special grade easily, especially because mahito healed his body and he still has the heavenly restriction because mahito only changed his physical body so he would still have the insane amount of energy as well as a normal body that he can train and strengthen. He had extremely high potential for sure but it was probably the correct move narratively to kill him off so we will never know.
He already meets the prerequisites for a special grade Jujutsushi they don't need to be strong they just need to be able to mobilize an army if he wasn't so secretive about his means and methods the higher ups would definitely categorize him appropriately. @@konabos747
@@konabos747 To be a special grade sorcerer is a super exclusive club. You basically have to have no discernible weaknesses.

@@MrAnimasonSpecial Grade is a combination of ability and mindset. You can lose and gain the status. Yuta lost it and after three months regained it.
Mappa popped all the way off for this fight. Mahito was tough, but at least Mechamaru went out swinging. Shibuya awaits.

Gojo getting captured allowed everyone to get stronger and sukuna to get stronger so there's someone that has an actual chance at beating gojo. There is nothing else that could've been done about gojo at that time.

I kinda got the vibe that Mechamaru went from "I need to get out ot here and get Gojo" to "I can WIN! I can take them BOTH out". Ik Mecha couldn't leave cuz of the veil, I just felt like to an extent, Mecha was so excited to have his body working, he wanted to almost do it for himself after a bit

That's possible. A common theme in jjk with high tiers is being greedy, confident and taking risks, and imo Mechamaru was defo a high tier in this fight

@@nullakjg767 That's not entirely true though, because he DID in fact have a chance to defeat Mahito at the least, and even Geto thought so. But beating Geto would've been out of the question.
What I don't understand is why he didn't just run to begin with. Maybe he couldn't have escaped the radius of a veil quickly enough, but it still seems like it would've been better to try than to be stuck fighting two special grade opponents.

i lived in japan and funnily enough i was in shibuya on halloween in 2018 and let me tell you the whole city is one gigantic party, so many people, so much drinking and craziness, there was this one street i went down and everyone was dancing so i joined in and i dropped my phone and broke it which was a pain to deal with lmao it's definitely cool to experience it once but idk about multiple times haha

Dammit! We start right off with the action, but dammit! This episode really messes with ya. Mahito stays being a bastard. Giving ya no hope then, a slight sense of hope, THEN a false sense of hope and back to none at all. I didn’t see a body but RIP Mechamaru. How they gonna have him fighting for his life and not even be able to hear Miwa talk to him, let alone be able to meet her with his new body 😔Some messed up shit right there. It was also interesting to see Geto’s reactions to the fight. At least we’re getting introduced to our teams and names of new characters. Gojo has arrived so things are really gonna kick off now 🤘🏽And we haven’t even seen Itadori or Todo yet. Can’t wait!
