@@JadeChandler Your speech moved me so much. I am Christian and I've been put through so much this year. My faith was tested to the extremes. I've been an active church member and a praise and worship leader for a year now. But I never thought life would get any tougher that my faith would not be shaken up until my grandfather died, I met the woman he cheated on with my grandmother during his funeral and told her I forgave her even if my family members, especially my mother was against it, my house burned down just a few months ago- four of our pet cats got trapped inside and they didn't get out of time. Basically, we're currently homeless. All that happened 3 months before graduating and I was qualified to fight for Valedictorian. I was truly shaken and at my lowest points. I didn't even think I could make it through. Not even expecting that I would be deemed as our batch's salutatorian despite the fact that I've taken a lot of things for granted because I was completely devastated. It really is God's undeserved grace that brought me to where I am today and I want to encourage my batch mates to keep going despite their struggles, through my testimony. However, I am conflicted with how I should piece everything in just 3 minutes and associate it with multiple intelligence and becoming effective 21st century leaders.
@@oddblood1471 I really appreciate you being vulnerable and allowing yourself to open up. Your story is truly impeccable! Do you have a draft or ideas written anywhere? If you have a google doc that you would like to share with me I would be more than happy to see what you have and help give you some notes on how to piece your vision together! Congrats on all of the recognition that you're getting on this, you totally deserve it. I was on my feet when you finished! I wish you the best in college and moving forward in life. Don't forget us little people :) -Terralyn
Who's here also looking for ideas to write their own salutatorian speech? 😭💖
If you need any help, just let me know! :)
