I've been watching funny speeches all day, and this and a best man speech were the best. Seriously funny... And both were done by Canadians. Great job guys

This guy should be a stand up comedian when he is adult. He is such a natural at poking harmless fun at everyone. Love the way he observes his teachers eccentricities and makes jokes about them. Like the joke about the different color heels one of his teachers wear to school.man, he observed that too. Lastly about dragging the car uphill , that was indeed a great lesson he shared with humor and wit. What an engaging young man. He will go places.

I thought this was really funny, but i was shocked to find out this kid was Canadian. In all honesty thought he was american the whole time until i saw the Canadian flag at the end.
Had this been given during my graduation, decades ago and in another country (USA), it would have lasted about two and a half minutes, three minutes at most, then the gr'up mentality would kick in and the speech would have been ended by the school authorities. Also, in the USA, If you mention God, the speech is ended immediately.

Uhm most US midwest schools are that small... my class was the entire county and we graduated like 100 while the other county next to us graduated 15. Thats how it is out here in the country not just Canada lol

I love that in retrospect high school doesn't matter at all. Here is the best student in the school in 2010 and nobody has heard from him again. I hope he is doing well but don't worry about your position in the high school hierarchy.
He was a student at PECI. He "played" the choking "game" .. you can look it up as to what it is.. But yeah. Im not going to give personal details to the situation but just for the basic reasoning of why he died, you can look that up if you want.
