I have had my eye on purchasing this, you and I are the exact shade in all foundations. I am also 290. I was waiting and hoping you would post a first impressions on this shade and you have! I feel like people who use darker foundation to look tanned will LOVE this powder foundation
My skin colour is similar to yours I got the shade 190! It definitely comes off darker on the skin so this matched my skin fine 👍🏼 would love to see you try a lighter shade to see the coverage better
I wonder if the colours darkened because of the "wet" moisturiser/primer underneath, try it on the back of your hand to check?

Kaushal, I appreciate that you did not give up and made it work even though both the shades were dark on you. I have watched other UA-camrs use 280 & 290 (they have a similar skin tone to yours) and it wasn't dark on them. I'm wondering if the skincare products you have applied prior to using the foundation are making it turn dark, but I hope you find the right shade because the foundation itself wore beautifully, even after applying cream products on top.
The skin care shouldn't make a difference to be honest. Not sure what happened here however.
With or without makeup, you just look too pretty. Have always been a big fan of your lovely smile.

I love the Fenty brand, I was debating between this and the Huda one and I think this one looks much better and goes with more skin types, while Huda's glowish seems to suit already perfect poreless skin. I loved the IT Cosmetics powder foundation but am looking to try something new
Imagine KKW had this problem with shade matching..the amount of negative comments and kardashian thrashing would have been unbelievable.
If all you have to do is create 3 shades when Fenty has 30+ then those 3 shades better be outstanding or you will justly get dragged🤗.
and... people are more likely to drag anything Kim K because of her itinerary to stardom and I can’t blame them🤗 She opened up her life to the public in exchange for fame.

I think your shade is more like 220 or 230. Obviously the one you have is too dark but its crazy how light it looks on the pan
I’m a similar skin tone to you Kaushal - 240 in the liquid foundations! I’m guessing it’ll be the same in the powder. Or has this shade seriously oxidised!
I guess the best thing to do is to get atleast 3 or 4 shades lighter to get your true match.

There is definitely an issue with the powder oxidising. Went to Boots to get shade matched and was given 120 while my normal shade is 185😂 Lord help anyone trying to buy it online

Girl you’re 145 in Fenty. I have exactly the same skin tone, I use 145 in the winter and 290 in the summer when I am tan.
I'm 145 too in fenty in summer and 130 in winter
I think u need to pick way too lighter shade than ur skin to actually match ur skin 😊

omg I have the same issue!! the liquid pro filt'r foundation by fenty is my absolute favourite, love it. Bought the powder foundation and I'm absolutely orange and too dark. I use 170
I like how this is handy for touch ups and to put in your bag or purse don’t have to carry much hopefully I get the right shade. I have to wait after lockdown definitely using this for summer holidays. Thanks for the video ❤️❤️

I use the Fenty hydrating foundation. It’s lovely on the skin. This powder however (I’m not an expert) looks like it could have oxidised on application.

290 is described as a medium to tan with warm oliveundertones....is that what u normally are? Did u read the description or just go based off the picture or pan color....that was told from jump the pan color isn’t what shows on skin ...go by ur foundation shade

And I thought I am the only one who suffers from this crazy shade issue. The shade of my Fenty liquid foundation perfectly matches with my shades from other brands like maybelline and estee lauder. Even when I swatch them together, they look the same. But as soon as I apply it on my face, it, for some weird reason, turns ORANGE-Y!!!! And the funny bit is that I did a shade check on my face, jawline and neck, at Boots, and at that time it looked fine. Luckily, after applying concealer, it looks better. But it just hurts.... XD

The formula is pretty but the colouring is totalling off. I think I'll still try it only because it looks really good on the skin, but will probably get one that is 3 shades lighter. I love how your not afraid to show your real skin. I have seriously become fed up with people using studio lights and filters. It makes people look unrealistic. I mean I consider my skin to be good but everyone has imperfections of some sort.
Whenever I decide to buy it, idk if I should get 190 or 220. In the liquid foundation I’m 240. I still need one with a warm or yellow undertone
