Gemma : "I have no pores" Me : 👀 I need this! I'm a definite cream product user, however, there are times when I feel a less dewy look would be more appropriate. This seems ideal for those occasions. I have been using this foundation for several months, I am a powder foundation woman😊 This has beat out any other ones I've previously loved and I've always been surprised more people don't rave about it💜👍
I as well am highly impressed by this foundation! It is perfect for my combination skin and it lasts really well - even underneath a mask - I hardly got any transfer! At first use it stuck to some dry patches and was kind of flaky, but I hadn’t exfoliated in a while. After exfoliation it looks and wears absolutely beautiful!
Dear: try mixing a small bottle of glycerin and mix in about 4 TSP of honey. Put it on every night. It is one of THE BEST NATURAL help for dry skin. I LOVE IT. No chemicals.

Beautiful finish and coverage Gemma! I love a good powder foundation during the summer when my skin is more normal than dry. A quick spritz of a glowy setting spray helps it melt into my skin looking as close to flawless as possible and it's lightweight with no creasing. :)
I have dry skin, and this is the first powder foundation that I have ever tried. I absolutely love it!!!! It doesn’t settle into my fine lines. It blends beautifully and so easy to apply. Love, love, love! 😊❤️

Last all day even under a mask. My skin doesn't like powder usually but this one! I just wonder if it's oxydizes... Maybe a little bit.
I have been wearing this powder over the top of my Maybelline Fit Me liquid foundation for the past three days and I LOVE it! Thank you so much for putting me onto this, I never would have tried it otherwise. On it's own it does nothing but patted over the Fit Me it helps to keep it matte all day and gives me the confidence that I won't have caking, streaks, fading or marks where I may have brushed my fingers against my skin. It also does what you say, looks like skin, specially when it has mixed with my natural skin oils. I also have not broken out from it. This is a new staple in my arsenal. Thanks Gemma!
I have combo skin and I love this foundation. With combo skin it’s okay to use to touch up as well. It doesn’t get cakey. And it blurs my pores too!!! I love this foundation. I apply with a Laura Mercier puff for a medium coverage.
I'm amazed by this product too, I was hesitant to try because... Over 40 combo skin with large pores.. But oh my 😱 it's just blurred everything and doesn't get dry thru the day!! I’ve always shied away from powder foundations as I think of them as drying and cakey and I always think they are going to go separated and orangey in my oily t zone but you are convincing me otherwise, very tempted.🥰💜
I am oily too and loved the powder foundation even more than the liquid one but bare in mind it was a struggle to find the right shade plus they don't match, meaning that I had to go a shade lighter on the powder. The liquid usually sets on my smile lines no matter what I do
Tires, new tires do smell lovely....I am a weirdo as well, I like the smell of skunk, lol.... and gasoline and rubber cement and paste, those smelly markers we had in elementary school.... the list goes on:)

This won't be the first time I purchased a product immediately after seeing your review. Hi Gemma! I bought this because of the excellent reviews. As your skin type/texture twin, I LOVE this! I have the lightest shade and it does oxidize about a 1/2 a shade down, but who cares when it looks SO good. Stay safe and well. (BTW- I also love the smell of tires, don't know why but I do).

Wow! I am having the exact same problems due to retin a usage, same peeling dry patchy skin. However, I love powders cause I also have really large pores so I am totally going to try this! I think the darker shade looks good on you, actually! Just ordered it, they gave me free shipping which is awesome just hope I got the shade right never ordered or used any Fenty before 🙂

I have been excited about today's video! Years ago I used a powder foundation exclusively, always using the sponge that was included. This product was discontinued, so I went back to liquid foundation. This product reminds me of the product I used to use, and I loved how quickly it went on. Powder foundations work beautifully in the HOT summers where I live. I am 53 with "normal" skin and my very favorite foundation routine is a bit of powder foundation, applied with a fluffy brush, over tinted sunscreen. I have tried several and the one that works the best, with regards to this routine, is the Estee Lauder Double wear powder foundation. The bare minerals was a disaster, accentuating every pore and looking "weird" on my forehead. The same with the Bobbi Brown and It cosmetics powder foundations. I am definitely going to give this one a try and will update how it worked.
I got this today from Sephora, before doing my makeup routine, so was able to try it out and love it! It goes on beautifully and doesn't accentuate any of my pores, or settle in fine lines. I use powder foundation almost as a setting powder for tinted sunscreen. I applied over my favorite, Australian Gold tinted sunscreen and it just left my skin evened out, which is what I am looking for. Just evening out, not a heavy foundation. It feels light weight on my skin and was matched almost perfectly through Sephora. I waffled on buying the shade they suggested, when I loaded the shade I use in the Estee Lauder Double wear powder foundation, but went ahead and it was almost a perfect match. So happy with this. I love Mac studio fix powder foundation applied with a puff then sprayed with a dewy setting spray. And I have mature skin normal to dry. Just make sure to moisturize first!

I tried it too. I am 62 and have dry skin too. I have some extra dry near my chin from an increase of retin a. It flaked a little there. I do love it as well. It will be even better in summer. I am going to try w a moisturizing primer.

Love this review. Thank you! My skin is similar to your. I have perioral dermatitis. Appears you may too. If you do, after decades I discovered that whey (found in dairy, and most protein drinks etc) is the culprit. A couple of weeks after having whey my skin freaks out. I can’t use tretinoin because of it. But I’ve found retinaldehyde works amazingly.
I regularly wear powder foundation in warm weather so I was particularly interested in your thoughts about this. Thank you for such a thorough analysis. This is definitely at the top of my buy list. My preferred applicator for powder foundation is the Tati Blendiful, which I bought last year based on your review.

This foundation looks great, but it's the combination with the rest of your makeup (this lipstick colour looks fantastic!!!) and your joy of this Fenty product, that makes everything complete. What a great review! Those bits of humor about tires was too hilarious. I’m not generally a fan of powder foundations either, but I DO have huge pores so I might just try this. There are always those days where I just want to get something on quickly and not have to wash my hands after i put on my foundation. This sounds like it may work for that, so thank you so much. You are the second UA-camr I’ve seen rave about this powder. I’m 50 with skin much like yours and I’ve avoided powders for a few years now BUTTTTT you’ve peaked my interest, adding it to my Sephora cart 😉 I think the only thing that could be a problem for me is I like cream/liquid blush and bronzers.... obviously I won’t be using those with this powder.

This seems really promising. I hate powder foundations usually (Bare Minerals for example looks awful on me - so powdery and dry). Another problem is that I have pores that can be seen from space 😂, so this sounds like it might be worth a try. I had to laugh when you said no pores because you don’t ever seem to have pores to me! I am super jealous.

I've been using powder foundations from "clean" beauty brands for the last year almost and have been very impressed with how natural they look.

Love this review. Thank you! My skin is similar to your. I have perioral dermatitis. Appears you may too. If you do, after decades I discovered that whey (found in dairy, and most protein drinks etc) is the culprit. A couple of weeks after having whey my skin freaks out. I can’t use tretinoin because of it. But I’ve found retinaldehyde works amazingly.
I regularly wear powder foundation in warm weather so I was particularly interested in your thoughts about this. Thank you for such a thorough analysis. This is definitely at the top of my buy list. My preferred applicator for powder foundation is the Tati Blendiful, which I bought last year based on your review.

I was looking for a powder foundation and I was gonna repurchase the bare minerals which I have purchased several times in the past which I am not opposed to but I am very excited to try Fenty Beauty now! This foundation looks great, but it's the combination with the rest of your makeup (this lipstick colour looks fantastic!!!) and your joy of this Fenty product, that makes everything complete.
Besides other smells (like tires 😉), I also love the smell when filling up at the gas station.

What a great review! Those bits of humor about tires was too hilarious. I’m not generally a fan of powder foundations either, but I DO have huge pores so I might just try this. There are always those days where I just want to get something on quickly and not have to wash my hands after i put on my foundation. This sounds like it may work for that, so thank you so much. You are the second UA-camr I’ve seen rave about this powder. I’m 50 with skin much like yours and I’ve avoided powders for a few years now BUTTTTT you’ve peaked my interest, adding it to my Sephora cart 😉 I think the only thing that could be a problem for me is I like cream/liquid blush and bronzers.... obviously I won’t be using those with this powder.

I've been using the Physician's Formula powder foundation with SPF and it's really good, but now I want to try this one, b/c No Pores.

This seems really promising. I hate powder foundations usually (Bare Minerals for example looks awful on me - so powdery and dry). Another problem is that I have pores that can be seen from space 😂, so this sounds like it might be worth a try. I had to laugh when you said no pores because you don’t ever seem to have pores to me! I am super jealous.
