I don’t know about you but right now he is reading me a bedtime story, it’s about how to make the gold champagne bottle things. It’s 5am and I’m in bed, been trying to sleep for hours
I can't believe I would see Champagne and Hood at a sentence as this is my first time hearing the word. Thought, I would only see them only on a fleet.
That's not how champagne is traditionnaly made. There are rules and if they are not followed it can't be named champagne. I think it's called "protected designation"
I watch these, and then think, "You know, when I was your age, I had a good job at the factory, and was buying my own house". And then think about how each machine can produce one of the caps every 2 seconds. And they wonder why we're so screwed.
Yes. Automation and freeing up human resources to other things are what creates value to the entire chain. More automated societies are richer, but doesn’t have more unemployment.
@@juxtapode2781 There is no shame to use proper words. Pizza, sushi or burrito are used daily all around the globe. And in France, we use many American English words such as serial killer, mass shooting, cripling debts or personnel bankruptcy due to medical expenses. Donc, voilà...
@@sebasszebass4154 There's no rule for adopting certain terms from other languages, generally it's because there's a lack of translatability, because it sounds fancy or good, or even because of marketting or even geopolitics. But you can't expect the whole world to use a specific word from a specific language when there's an easier option, or if they don't know about it. It isn't even wrong to say "capsule à champagne" in France, which directly translates to "champagne hood". Yeah sure, we french people like to use english words at our jobs and everyday lives to sound "in the move" and "modern" (which is arguably cringy in some cases) but this isn't a case of "you owe me". American people didn't choose the words we adopted from their language as we won't choose what they take from ours. You really don't have a point here.
The engineering that goes into the machines always gets me!
It’s pretty amazing isn’t it?
But then they show a cake factory and it's a dozen ladies doing it all by hand. Hope there are a lot of bottles of champagne to justify it
I want to see a _How "How It's Made" ..Is Made_ episode
that's a very very very good idea !!
They then need to make an episode about how they made that episode
@@Patang_Jr And then need to make an episode about how the made the episode of the episode

Nice of them to do a special for New Years
You know damn sure in 5 years, this video is going to have 5 million views
You’re probably right.
Happy new year, hope everyone has a good one!!!!!
This process I can get behind, no unnecessary human steps involved!
I want this man to read me a bedtime story
Don't we all
😂😂i relate
For real dude
I’m certain it’s the same guy who voiced all those Too Cute episodes about kittens and puppies, those shows are as good as bedtime stories.
I don’t know about you but right now he is reading me a bedtime story, it’s about how to make the gold champagne bottle things. It’s 5am and I’m in bed, been trying to sleep for hours
The theme is on point 😂
Happy new year✨✨✨
How many hours went into the creation of these types of machines?
Happy New Years, let's hope 2021 is WAY better for us.
It won't be
Happy New Years!!!
Yea hopefully
Happy new years
2020 was a great year! 6 months off work paid
Finally something useful in this series. Science and engineering is amazing.
I love watching stuff get created!!
The machines are satisfying to watch!
Looping process is so much satisfying to see
its 2 AM and I watch this video randomly
this is the most fascinating video i've ever watched!
It's pretty bad when stuff pops off at the wrong moment
Tends to happen to me when I am around attractive women
Happy New Year 2021🥳🎇🎆✨🎊🎉🍾🥂
I thought when popping a bottle today: "I *know* there is a video about how these things are made." Boom!
Originally aired October 22, 2015.
How fitting, I just watched the Champagne video.
How does it get on the bottle?
According to their Champagne episode, a blast of compressed air from overtop towards the end of the packaging process
HAHAHA..... COULD'VE. AT LEAST SHOWED. THAT...!!!!!
Happy new year day 🥂🍾
Just in time for the new year!
Happy New year from México with love cheers!
You too from Belguim :)

Since you are the *US* How It's Made guy:
'Polyethylene' film.
Beatles fans can tell you it's only called "polythene" by British speakers.
He said Polythene correctly, but went on to say aluminum rather than the correct aluminium. Pulling our legs, surely.
Happy New Year
Very timely!
Most important tech of the modern age
Happy new year everyone 🥳
😊 😊 🎆 🎇 happy new year to all ☺ 😊 💖 🎆
I can't be the only one that finds it ironic they uploaded this video on New Years Eve
I can definitely appreciate a Rigid hood
Surprisingly interesting...
Is this a filling machine or a rinsing machine?
this was so fascinating
No rinsing machine to clean them first?
How many more machines does that building need?
@@gteaz a rinsing machine a filling machine and cog cogger cogging machine...
There's no point, they could get dirty in transit to the customer. Let the bottler clean them.

I didn’t even know what a champagne hood was
i wanted to see them put the things on the bottles

Great now I can make my own Champaign hood thanks how it’s made
You're under arrest for chapaigning in the hood
If you’re on a How It’s Made binge, which video led you here? Mine is Gold Bars!
This machine needs a good Maintenance.
Upload more 🙏🙏
gonna have a massive party this new year with the boys!

They could simplify the whole process if the champagne bottles had screw caps.

I like how you think sitting in one place twisting bits of wire together by hand day after day sounds like a “good job“.
On youtube, what do I want to watch? This I guess.
Yay
Nice
Why is it 6 twists to undo the cage every time ?
Flashbacks to the fitness gram program from middle school (or whatever its called)
wow....
LoLx I took.in champagne just yestee..and this got recommended
Have you seen Polythene Pam?
This is insane

I wanted to see the part when they install it all on a bottle

why do we need to know this?
The foil on a wine bottle is a "capsule".

Okay but how is it _actually_ made?
What do you mean? Are you suggesting there are Chinese kids in a closet somewhere for cheaper manufacturing? Lol

The point was to watch how they put them onto the bottle, not the process of making them. A little disappointed...
That part is in the champagne video, but I agree it would be nice to have it here too
