IMO, its an entrance to the Act 2 event.
Some people said on reddit that act 2 will be cavern crawl, while this looks like an entrance to a cavern.
So basically I agree with everything you said :D
I looked at the name of Act 2 and it implies it'll be a desert. Maybe it'll be a desert based cavern crawl? I assume so at least, but why fall into a hole in a tree, to end up in the Desert. They must be trying to juke us.

If that's true, then why is it located in the side quest path? Shouldn't it be in the main quest path?

Hmm, I think it's just Valves way of making you progress through it. I feel like they're connecting everything so it can be played through from start to finish and I don't doubt some of it is just needless grinding to keep us playing. The "hole" creates intrigue and keeps you playing. Once you find out what it is, it's intriguing to see what's on the other side, so you continue playing until Act 2 is out, and continue the process there on out.
I think it's just a way of keeping the player base interested for a longer period of time. A lot of it is just filler I think. Grinding at its best.
Hope I didn't just ramble again. I find myself doing that a lot when it comes to Dota -_-

act 2 will be a desert says right on the homescreen. are you saying that the next act will start in a cavern and out to the desert?
Yea, I commented that I saw it was a desert later on, but I still think it'll be a cavern crawl of sorts, where there are three sets to obtain for three heroes. Seems like it at least. Unless they just do.. more tokens? I guess we'll just have to see. I've heard people think it'll be another Aghanims Labyrinth type deal too.

Do you get the Riki Immortal weapon by doing his side story on the Map?, it's quite short and it's also all about that weapon

Yea, 15 is the final trade. No more candy until Act 2, or you can buy it via the bundle.

i just submitted everything to temple but still no candle token..it just mentioned temple under renovation now
Yea, I don't think we'll be able to get the Candle token until they want us to. Which is why I think it's an opening to Act 2. Just seems like the easy way for Valve.
There's also the theory that the candle vendor is Ringmaster. Remember, mid-may = early 2024.

@@thechosenone3852 sorry, they said early 2024 for the Crownfall and we as a community assumed that Ringmaster was part of Crownfall.
I just wish the next arc is more like siltbreaker or aghanims, i like adventuring and playing with friends is 100% fun and there's absolutely challenge too. I remember i had a huge blast playing those events, idk why valve seems like they've already cratched this idea.
AGHANIMS WAS SO FUN! Whenever I hear someone bring it up, I'm like PLEASE VALVE! I hope they do something like that again, maybe not the same thing, but something.

I already got the candle. Upon going through that hole, it only shows a small lit cornrr the whole area. Upon entering, Dragonus and Shen apparently found a stone tablet that has inscriptions carved in it. However, the candle light is so low that I cant even make out of what it means. I mean I see words, but it doesnt add up to anything meaninful, at least for me.
After that nothing has triggered so far. As far as I can read it, this is how it goes:
..THE SUN...
..HEALS THE WHOLE...
......DISRUPTOR KING...
...REPLACED WITH KIN...
..ENEMY ATTACK BR°JECTH (?)...
..RANGE OF (* DAMAGED/ERASED WORDS ON STONE TABLET*)

Well you are right.but its not a portal(my guess) I think its a hole and act1 is a market in mid sky right?look under it its frozen lands under this huge market in sky and maybe thats how other queensguard came to the market

True, but I feel unless it's part of the paid pathfinder, they could still use it as such. Not sure what else it'd be for since it's May and we're approaching mid May already, with no option to get a candle yet. Act 2 is probably a week or so out, that Candle has to be coming soon.

Hi guys.. I still have 15 coins left. Should I spend the extra 10? Or it will be carry over the next act?
I already bought to unlock the extra sidequest pack.
I'm saving all of mine hoping it'll carry over to the next act. I'm hoping for an instant discount on new chests or act quests or something lol.
As for what you should do, totally up to you. It'll probably carry over, but there's a possibility it'll only work for the first act. That being said, you could always spend it when act 2 comes out, just to get some more stuff from Act 1. You do what you feel is the best option. Can't go wrong with what your heart tells you. 🫡👍
You can get 25 coins with a pack, but spend only 20, so they are definitely carried over to other acts

Its definitely not that. Act 2 is going to be in the desert and not a cave, idk how you drew to that conclusion. Its probably kotl selling you a candle and the encounter is either going to give you more tokens, or exchange tokens for something else, what the actual encounter is idk

Also, I saw it was going to be a desert after the fact, but the concept of a cavern crawl might still apply (As in quests towards three different sets for three different heroes) As for Kotl, I can see it. I've heard rumors of it being the Ringmaster release, but who knows.
As for the encounter, I know about as much as you, but I don't see why it'd be time locked unless it was directly having to do with Act 2. I'm all open to opinions or suggestions, but honestly, we all know nothing lol so theory crafting is all we doing.

You can only redeem 1 free bundle that contains candies,doubledown mmr and 10 rerolls, using the 10 gold coins. Since there are only 15 gold coins if f2p.

In candy shop there are 10 coins option if you are lucky
you can trade your token for some candy. there is a place to do it on map. i think its close to the finish line. but i dont know is there any limit to do it.
