1000 lb towing capacity, no spare tire, and no fog lights. So much for "rugged, all-weather capability" or mild off-road. The Accord hybrid is same - no spare. Seems like if you are going to do that, you ought to be running run-flats, not putting in a "repair kit" that only works for small punctures. Anything much more than a nail or screw puncture is going to leave you on the side of the road waiting for AAA, and then, after you wait for a tow, you might get to wait for a tire store to open. And if you aren't in cell coverage area? SMH. Do better Honda. I'm in the market for a SUV in this size class, and will not be wasting any time at the Honda lot. And I'm not anti-Honda. I have owned 4 different Honda cars from early 80's to early '00s (30+ years, 300K + miles), but they've lost me for now.
@@spglazestewart Bet you don't have the hybrid. From what I can see, the non-hybrids have a spare and tow 1500 lbs. The hybrids lack a spare and tow 1,000 lbs.
@@ztekz Hybrid Rav4 2020 owner and I can tell you for sure it comes with a nice size spare...also my brother has a 2022 Avalon hybrid and it has a spare too
I have one and I’m in love with it. That said, I will never tow 1000 lbs and I will never do heavy duty off roading. Its more of an all season multitask vehicle than a pure off roader. I’d advise you test drive and compare it to a RAV4. The RAV4’s interior is incredibly cramped and plasticky in comparison. Also, when you let the rear seats down it feels a lot more spacious than other vehicles in it’s class. If I needed the spare that much I’d simply buy one and leave it on the floor in the trunk. They are available on the aftermarket.
Nobody is buying this to tow,cargo capacity is just fine for a couple with small children. It’s great for elderly couples. People are buying this for its versatility and reliability. It’s the best looking suv in its class. Nobody is taking these cars off road. Good reliable fuel efficient car.
I totally agree with you. I'm in the elderly category and this model/trim is perfect. I love the aggressive and sporty exterior look, it's very comfortable inside, it drives great, and the Bose sound system is incredible. I'm definitely getting one.
For long road trips, I will take the 2025 Tucson Hybrid over this. The Tucson Hybrid is smoother and quieter on the highway, has more dependable adaptive cruise and self-steering, and has room for an aftermarket temporary spare tire inside the trunk space.
I'm seriously considering buying this car. Touring trim level. It's on the pricey side but I test drove it and it's really good. Missing is ventilated front seats and panoramic sunroof. it's not rugged but it's built well I got in a accident with my sport touring hybrid 2023 model and it held up well. Got hit in front and back no spare tire had one puncture in a year and half tire still good solid small suv.

Which is a big thing as I get on
Juliana: 1. when hand motions are closer to an alredy close camera they become larger, faster and more exaggerated because that's just the way a close camera works - your hand gestures may appear stronger than you intend. 2. Proessional bradcasters (and singers) are particular about mics they prefer for their voice - for example: some mics are "sharper" (to better pick-up/strengthen speach for those with a softer voice) and mics naturally soften a strong voice or tone or simply may have coves. Many singers prefer tube mics/ pre-amps to strengthen harmonics (round their voice with harmonic overtones and harmonic undertones). The mic you chose could re random or it could be more intentional. 3. you speak well, your content is excellent and your smile is an asset...becoming more aware of what you can do technically to strengthen 1. and 2 should be relatively easy for you. (Smiling)

Who the F will be towing with this size of SUV? If you have more than 2 kids, get a vasectomy or a mini van. This is plenty of SUV for average American who can no longer afford a 40k car (and there is over 70% of you out there). As for lack of spare tires, yes that's lame and I agree. I personally think CRV's best models were 2004 thru 2006 with great visibility, reliability, full size tire, nice built in table (yes, table) in the back and large trunk with door opening sideway.
a 360 cam is pretty useless lol. A traditional back up camera provides much more useful viewing angles and if you use the ultra wide or fisheye cam then you can see everything

Relax, some Toyota hybrids also don’t have spare tires and only inflator kit! Same with some Hyundai/Kia hybrids…it’s not the end of the world!
My Honda crv 2025 EX has a spare tire underneath the cargo area. We didn't even notice it had that at first.

That's why I went with a Subaru Outback. I needed to tow 3500 lbs and these hybrids fall short. Outback gets good mileage for a 260hp vehicle too.
