Also bought my Soundz system based on your last video. Besides just the increased volume aspect, the level of clarity is unreal. Like Brad mentioned, went from reading what song was playing to hearing every word. Simply amazing! Pete provided unparalleled customer service before and after sale, great company!!! Thanks again for your great videos John!!!
When doing a similar install, I heated the plastic you cut out at 14:20 with a hot air gun and pressed in the speaker to mold it to shape. No need to cut it. Makes the sound better and preserves waterproofing etc.
After seeing your video I decided to purchase a 6 speaker setup for my 2019 Tri-Glide. Was expecting to have it installed at BBB in Arkansas in September. To my shock, I got an email that the guys just happened to be in the Kansas area.....Yes all the way in the Midwest and these guys detoured 3 1/2 hours to install my system and not to mention worked in my cramped garage in the cold just to make a customer tickle in his pants when they were done. I went with 6 Carbon 65's....HOLY CRAP!!!! Never thought I'd have lower fairing speakers but WOWZA!!!! I'm now going to install the trike body speaker kit to be able to run 8 total speakers and really blast down the highway and hear my music over my Tab Performance BAM Sticks with torque cone inserts!!!!!!
John, after watching your first video on SoundzBaggerAudio I purchased the Iron 65 speakers, 2 channel amp and dsp. WHAT A DIFFERENCE ! thanks for a great job as usual
John, wish you were still at what is now Fort Benning HD. Love your videos. When I first moved here and realized when watching your videos that you were just up the street I hopped on my bike and found out you moved. You have the most helpful vids out there. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I have had a Soundz system on my ultra for 3 years now and it still ROCKS!!! I must say at that time they were still using Focal speakers, but I trust their new ones are just as good if not better! Best money I have spent on any Bike! Love your channel John!!
Been using Soundz since early 2016! Pete and Sue are the BEST in product and customer support! LOVE my system and still rocking strong coming up on 4 years!
PETE!!!! Love this guy, and his Audio Gear is AWESOME! I stayed with these guys one at a Rally, helped them out a bit, and Pete and his dad were just a pleasure to be around. Check out SOUNDZ! You will be very happy!
@John Maxwell. So I have a 98 Sportster 1200 but I have Hard bags on it for long trips. I now plan on buying the Soundz kit to install it. You were honest in your video and I respect that. All your videos you have an honest opinion. I have looked up other reviews on other kits to use but none of them have real world listening videos. I enjoy your videos as you are as real as it comes. Keep it up brother. I look forward to many more videos from you. Love and respect from VA
John, I appreciate all of your videos and enjoy your wit, humor and outlook. I was looking back at some of your videos and was reminded how much I enjoyed the videos that are actual mechanic videos that show us shop work and repair. I guess I am less inclined to add bling to my bike than do necessary repairs and upgrades. Anyway thanks and keep em coming!
love soundz products! I have 6 iron speaker, the DSP, and the new GTS radio installed by soundz. I will never go to anyone else other than soundz for audio.
I have a 2015 Street Glide Special. Stock sound is terrible, so I upgraded to HD Stage 2 speakers and amp thinking it would solve my problems. It didn't. Still can't hear the audio at highway speed. Wish I would have known about Soundz before I made that purchase. Thanks for the video, John.
John you rock dude keep up the tech tips and product reviews I've been telling all my buddy's about your video's and now they are talking about your channel be safe Brother
Dig the video brother, you're son will grow up to ride 👍, I'm not going to make it to Sturgis this year either, maybe next year, but I will be in Fayetteville Arkansas for the Bikes Blue's and Barbeque it's always a good time, ride safe live free keep the knees in the breeze 💯
John, not trying to bust your balls but at 3:21, you say 2017 and later specials get the Stage 1 6.5" speakers (76000320), however, that didn't start until 2018. 2017 had the 5.25" speakers (76000096) on all glides and glide specials.
Wow, sounds great,,,sure does make a big difference! I'm not much of a radio guy, happy with the sound on stock 2019 CVO speakers at 60 mph, the most I do is listen to the 60's on Sirius radio. But mainly listen to the exhaust,,,,,, Ocala, FL.
Another great video John. Tell Brad he has a awesome looking bike. Same as mine except I have the 2017 model. I remember when you did your first video with Pete down in Florida. Sounds like he knows his stuff. Too bad he is not close to Vegas to do a install would love to do a upgrade on my bike. Just don't trust any of the rip off joints around here. Great video great sounds. Keep up the great work.
What an Awesome Video JM I’ve been waiting for this one ever since you went to Daytona bike week! My 2019 FLHXSE Needs some sound help... I will be ordering a new system from Pete for sure..
Join the club. I had the 2 weeks off scheduled for Stugis and changed jobs. Had to skip it this year. Planning on riding there from Tampa next year for the 80th. 💪
I'll have to consider getting some of these speakers, if they have sizes to fit an FXRP or FXRT Fairing. I want to put one on my Sporty. I can't wait to have some tunes on my bike. I can't wait to get it fixed, first. It's been too long. I guess the first song that I'll play will be "Back In The Saddle".
Brad is a lucky guy. y'all are awesome. great video good content. Thanks again John. take a ride to Asheville NC. fall is on the way we have great leaves and several nice rides
Awesome install. So Professor Maxwell HD you’ve chopped just about every bit of Harley’s portfolio. Is there any free real estate on the left hand side of the 2018 CVO Street Glide fairing next to the 6.5 screen? Would it fit the screen of a BlueSkySea DV988 DashCam? 🤔
Great vlog John, question how much weight does that speaker add to the saddlebag, keeping in mind the 15 lb recommended max weight restriction. I realize the speaker isnt anywhere near 15 lbs but maybe 2 or 3 lbs at the very most. As a road captian I carry almost a full saddlebag (lots of weight) evenly distributed.
Going to make a few videos of me just riding tomorrow and Friday, had a lady ask me yesterday if I was going to sturgis but am heading the other way to Indiana from Texas, got me some grand kids to go see. Won’t be vlogging just riding and enjoying the scenery plus if someone cuts you off I just point at the camera and they try to apologize sometimes
John in your option is soundz comparable to JM Rocker system you’ve never mentioned them but I run there system on my 16’ street glide with 4 speakers and it slams way better than that junk hog tunes stage 2 system I bought the first time👎 Nice review might look into there set up next time!
Hey John, I just posted my first video and wanted to say thank you. I mention you in it but if you don't get a chance to watch; just know you have inspired me! Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
Sorry if you guys already covered this in the vid (I skipped around) - but i see a lot of people going with the Iron 65's in the Fairing instead of the Carbon series. Is there not much of a difference for the $200 increase? Or do not many people have them because they're still relatively new?
HD Stage 1 speakers and Amp was a $1000 kit and 5 hours labor at $115 per hour. I was told X2 for the aftermarket speakers. This doesnt include the saddlebag lids.
How much noise does this system make when turned all the way down? Is it a little hiss or noticeable obvious hiss from 20 feet away? I have heard such systems and curious if this one has a noticable noise floor?
Sounds a is a cheap but better speaker system then stock if you are just wanting something a bit louder. However, sinister sound, diamond motor sports pro series, etc are much louder and capable of much more power and frequency tuning. It is a step above for those who just want something a bit louder but not as interested in tuning or serious audio sounding system. Good for the average Joe’s though. Fosgate is a bit above Soundz on the analyzer. It’s all about money.
Bro what bars are on your heritage. I have a 19 and like the set up. Also what speaker u using? Does it sound clear and loud. I put v and h eliminator 300 on and would like to jam out on a budget lol.
I assume the woman is your wife and the kid is yours. Just wanted to say Congrats man! You're wife is beautiful and your kid absolutely adorable! HOLD ONTO THEM MAN! You're truly blessed!!!!
Sweet!!!! Do you guys sell these? I live in Nashville now but was born and raised in the PC/Columbus area. I am thinking about coming down the visiting family and would like to have you guys do this work to my bike.

Where’s is this Soundz’s located??
Jerome Pickett they are in FL. I bought mine online and installed in my garage.
Tom Barth After watching the video it seems like a fairly basic install did you have any problems can a monkey do this??
John Bouchard it’s pretty straightforward. Getting the amp and it’s bracket in was a little tight, but very doable. The results were worth the effort.
@@Tomcattathey using 12 or 24 dB/octave slopes?

Hi John, I live in Australia and we love Harleys. Man I love your videos. Wish you and your family all the best.
i know Pete and soundz from when he opened his doors in Sioux Falls s.d. before moving to Florida
great guy.

Had a Soundz system installed at Myrtle Beach bike week in 2014, love it. Every year since I troll there install tent and want to upgrade, maybe 2020.

rebelangel151 I enjoy my stage 2 on my 2016 SGS but it’s a starter set compared to the Soundz system , that’s a chunk of cash for a casual rider
Man that sounds unreal from how far you walked away!
I was hoping for a sound system review, this is great. thanks
Just saw that ranger tab on your wall, if that's yours then thank you for your service. From one to another.

Yea, think Soundz is the way to go to update my 16 Ultra.

Well, you have a different ball game worth of speakers, too. Hmmm comparison video....
@@TheHarleyTech it's the road glide CVO, so 4 speakers, not 6 as on the street glide.

Is the oem electrical suitable for all these new items now demanding power?
Any experience with Sinister Sound and how that system compares to Soundz?
