- Science On a Sphere® is a large visualization system that uses computers and video projectors to display animated data onto the outside of a sphere. Said another way, SOS is an animated globe that can show dynamic, animated images of the atmosphere, oceans, and land of a planet. NOAA primarily uses SOS as an education and outreach tool to describe the environmental processes of Earth.
This video shows a short piece of Earth's tectonic evolution.

Why is the floor moving?
Actually, if you search google for "Palemap" you'll find a great site that has shows maps of future world geography (+50, +100, and +200 MA). I'm not sure what data the maps are derived from, but they are interesting nonetheless.

I may add that birds bones are hollow to allow flight. What you were claiming was the fact that we had huge insects which there were, but it was not due to the earth being smaller with less gravity. The same reason there were large animals is the same reason for very large plant life. More Oxygen... The more Oxygen available the larger organism will grow.
Solid rock is viscous at high temperature. The viscosity of mantle is about 10^20 Pa s. Such a material dissipates stresses related to tectonics easily over timescales of millions of years.

I wish it would show what happens in the future past our current plate positions.
The term "conspiracy" is incorrect, but sometimes, it's easier to protect an old theory even if the theory is wrong.

haha the Dragonflies ARE YOU SERIOUS? We have birds now (Which are heavier then the insects in ?) with wings spans of 6 feet. Now as for the rest... Well that will require a video due to theres just to much to type in text. If you wish I will however if you so desire the evidence you ask for.

One thing I can say that helps debunk this Hypothesis is that when something grows it just doesnt grow out of nothing. Humans for example; We feed in order to get the nutrients we need to grow. Where does the Earth get the extra matter in order to gain its mass?

The geologists compare rock samples from different locations, determine age, determine where the known motion takes place and extrapolate.

@noahdh a flat earth doesn't explain why the continents are drifting apart, nor does it explain convergent faults. Many flat earthers(idk if u do) that say the sun drifts away from the earth until night hits. Why is the sun NOT shrinking in size? One answer. The sun and earth remain at a constant or near constant rate of space apart. Time zones, the fact that the south pole gets less light than the equator, and for that matter the north pole gets less light, gravity is true(how can u explain acceleration of the earth when I let my hand fall due to gravity yet lift it up),weight changes due to gravity NOT by acceleration (how is that possible ) all prove the earth is round.

@davidgran1967 The law of conservation of energy - energy can neither be created or destroyed. So hows it expanding. More shit coming out of nowhere? . the other way is everything under the crust decided to spread out more. (i know i'm not using the correct terms but w/e). the earths crust would probably crack, a whole lot, in a lot of different places.

Wrong. Utterly wrong. Where is the geological evidence for the growing Earth hypothesis?
Plate tectonics explains perfectly how mountains are formed, how the continents fit together like a jigsaw.

hahah expanding Earth has no factual science behind it. There is absolutely NO proof for it. It also cannot explain subduction zones. Instead they ignore them, and state that they dont exist when they clearly do. Yea good game bud... Expanding Earth Theory..... Funny
