Both Barclay and Ensign Ro would have deserved more attention to show that you don't need to be a leader and/or a perfect role model to find yourself a respectable place in the world.
I love the software, great video and I'd have to say Picard was the best and maybe Data second probably for similar reasons why you liked the EMH! I started following Patrick Stewart when he was in the now classic movie Excalibur a very excellent rendition of the Arthurian tales! Do you disagree?
I think UJAM always somehow knows how to spend my money (lol) I’m so addicted to their plugins. I’m going to buy it, no questions asked. I vote for this plugin because of its versatility and convenience. You can adjust the sound exactly how you want it. Then it’s up to you if you going to replace some of the sounds or not.
The drumkits are fire, although after trying it out I can't really say that bass programming is comfortable. Having to input pitch and trigger info at the same time feels weird tbh. Everything else-super cool
Hey Max, thanks for your feedback! Can you share some more details on your experience? We tried something new with the Bass Tune control - it’s completely different compared to HUSTLE 2.
@@ujamInstruments Sure! I tried throwing Glory on my existing drum midi on WIP track to see how it fits in the context. Drumwise-awesome, almost felt like i had nothing to change. Which i was really happy about. Although my eyebrows went up a bit when i copied my Bass MIDI notes to the range of Glory (just a transposition to D-1/D-0) and the plugin didn't produce any bass notes unless B1 was pressed. I guess it's like a keyswitch system for pitch but in result i had to copy all the notes to match the trigger points as well as their lenght, then transpose them into one note and put it on the bass trigger. It's probably not such a big deal but i really feel like it would be a better experience if bass was playing on note press, because right now it creates a really clustered pattern in midi department (Hihats+kicks+snares+bass trigger+notes on a single division looks a bit too busy) Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk :D P.S. I love your stuff guys anyways, just a minor nitpicking
I have a big request. Can you make a feature to create a full midi notation of instruments that play from VD when I already have a midi notation of individual keys in Player mode? I don't know if I'm translating correctly. First, I record midi in Player mode, and then, for example, I play the entire midi track and VD plays various licks as I arranged them, but the midi messages of all instruments from VD are recorded on the new midi track. So I get something like drag and drop, but through the record (full song), not with the mouse, because then these are already well-made drums with transitions that overlap, etc. Is it simply possible to record somehow everything that VD gives to the speakers, but not in the form of audio, but midi and each instrument separately?? I care about it very much. Best regards. :)
Hey there, if I understand you correctly I think you're talking about Midi Out. The Virtual Drummers feature midi out, so you can record all Midi that's coming from a VD onto a Midi Track in your DAW. You can also send the instruments like Bass drum, Snare etc. to individual channels. How to do that highly depends on the DAW you're using. Please note that the Beatmakers do not feature Midi out, just Midi Drag and Drop. Hope that clarifies it.
@@ujamInstruments hi, thanks, yes midi out only!!! Please do this in BM as well!! This is a very important feature!! I tried to record midi out in VD ale nic nie wyszło z tego. :(
@@ujamInstruments very important, in Ujam Symphonic Elements Strings there is a serious problem in the Sustain instrument!! I wrote about it to support today. Greetings and a dose of strength for you! 🤗❤️🎶🎹🎸
Hi thanks for watching! Yes, you can EQ each individual drum sound with the "filter" knob in the instrument section. Additional you can take advantage of the multi-out function and eq the drums in your DAW mixer :)
Hi Alhex! Yes you can route every single instrument into your mixer with the multiple output feature. Have a look at this helping article to learn more about it: support.ujam.com/hc/en-us/articles/360011171900-How-to-use-Multiple-Outputs
Hey ujam, me (and my music network) just want to ask you for advice for using the Beatmaker series which we are getting into: If we want our Beatmaker drums to hit even harder and sound as big as possible for commercial release, should we add further processing using our other plugins (eg. clipper, tape machines, & all the other usual processing used on drums for maximum impact), or will the drums sound over-processed if we do that? I ask because we don't know all the processing that has already been applied to Beatmaker drums (eg. if strong compression has been applied already by ujam, would it not be a good idea for us to apply any other processing that intrinsically contains compression (eg. tape saturation, etc)? I guess what I'm asking is: if we want our Beatmaker drums to be as strong & hard hitting as possible, what additional processing can we apply without making the drums sound over-processed, over-compressed, etc? Thank you for your very cool products!🔥🔥
Hi M Instinct, thanks for reaching out and your interest in our music tools! The Beatmaker series comes always with a mastering section (Saturation, Maximizer & Ambience) when you add additional processing we recommend turning these knobs down or even put the output to individual so you can add your very own effects. We definitely recommend to try adding a compressor bus for parallel compression that will make the drums more hard hitting and full sounding. The Beatmaker sound is made that you can use the sound out of the box but to stand out in the mix you probably need to add at least an additional Equalizer so it fits in-between your other elements better.
but how to you record the audio from glory to your daw !!!!!?????? I tried sending it to another track to record ,, and just recorded it in its on track but couldn't get it to record!? its dope they give you 30 day free trial on almost all of there products

The instruments don't have the Pan knob. Suppose I wanna place hi hat on the left signal and open hi on the right, I find no knob for that option. I think it'd be cool if you add the pan knob for individual instruments. Other than that all your plugins are very very dope!
Hi Keshi Tunez, thanks for your feedback! The panning is already happening in the drum kits itself and in some of the mix presets we added auto panning. But we're definitely thinking about adding an additional pan knob, for now you can make use of the "Individual Output" feature and pan the single instruments in your DAW. Hold up, how are you switching 808s notes like that in piano roll. The software can switch keys manually but they then stay in that note,. What am I missing?
GLORY enables you to manipulate the bass slider either through automation or MIDI notes. Simply jot down some MIDI notes within the range of D-1 to D0 to seamlessly control the tuning of your 808s.
@@ujamInstruments Not sure how midi works because it only has an 808 in one note and if I draw a note above or below, it plays a different sound, and not changing the tune of 808.
Good app but the 808 feature is, to be kind, awful. I can't even play the 808? I get that it's a drum machine but surely we can improve its usage when it's software. The way to change the notes in the piano roll is also very awkward and doesn't lend itself to creating music. Please reimagine this feature completely and it's a given purchase.
How can you change the tune of the 808? Whenever I change the slider, it puts every note on that key... Any way to have a few notes in D, then others in G?

Just purchased, i understand you can tune the the drums but for the 808 how do you use the 808 in the kit to play an 808 pattern without it just playing the one root note?
Beatmaker GLORY comes with a brand new feature that allows you to control the tune of your bass with MIDI notes! Just write in some MIDI notes between “D0” and “D1“ to control the tune of your 808s - no automation needed! We are currently producing another video in order to answer that question. Stay tuned!
