I have a R1250R (the naked version) with the akrapovic exhaust and the sound is a delight. This engine has a lot of torque and allows for very comfy driving in any gear l. And if you need to accelerate quickly to, say, take someone over, it has you covered too.
I am sure you had lots of fun on the curvy roads with the bike
I will get the naked version the upcoming weekend ;)
Complimenti x la professionalita' e la precisione dei dati, questo e' un ottimo metodo x farsi una idea della moto. Bravo
Grazie mille :)
Hai perfettamente ragione ti fai subito un idea concreta un saluto a tutti
@@lucafrisardi934 Grazie :)
Great sound, nice torque 😍
yep :)
Cool bike
Fast and probably very comfortable
Also speedometer is fairly accurate
Yep, the new boxer engine is very nice :)
Ein echt schönes Motorrad! Perfekt zum Reisen denke ich! Wie immer ein prima Full Gas Test! 😉👍LG✌🏍
jojoj :) nur meine Freundin fand sie nicht ganz so bequem wie meine XX :D
@@mototop_ Deine Freundin hat Geschmack 👍😉😁🤣
In this white looks really elegant and nice. :) Rode one and also the R1250R model. Very nice bikes. Really.
upcoming weekend I will get the M1000RR and the following weekend the R1250R. I hope the weather will be fine. Now we have autumn in Germany.
Super testing 👌👌
thanks :)
😀Great job on the video Bro. Yeah cool bike to test ride, one of my favourite bikes. Great Stuff, Big Thumbs Up👍👍
thanks Bro :) One of your favourite bikes? Glad I had it for testing for you ;)
Very nice video again! 👍👍
thanks :)
Very nice bike actually also faster than most sport cars
But who rides at 200 km/h anyway
I'd probably pick this bike for daily use
yep, for daily riding it's enough :)
Goodjob, do you have lot of vibration tho?
The windshild looks like it is not mooving
Thanks 😊
Vibration depends on rpm, speed etc. But I can't remember when there are a lot of vibrations.
Thanks for this bike 👌
you're welcome :)
Good morning: for when the test of the BMW S1000XR 2022. Thank you very much. All the best. ✌✌✌✌✌
thanks :) yep, I got offered to test both: the R1250RS and S1000XR at one weekend. But I didn't had so much time, so I choose the R1250RS :) Maybe soon I will get the XR ;)
Wow it's a lot faster than my Suzuki Swift. I will buy now!
maybe a stock Swift.... :)
Looking forward for the roll on video of this bike. I think it's gonna do some very good times on that! 😉🤤
will follow soon ;) right this weekend I have time to edit the roll on and topspeed video. But also test another bike.... The Baby BMW G310R :)
@@mototop_ is this next to your main work/job you do this? Because I also have al lot of data from midweight naked motorcycles and I love doing that getting around with my dragy and test/measure some New motorcycle 🤤🤤🤤
@@bimmer130i9 I'm working in motorcycle development. But I'm doing videos of motorcycles on youtube since 2008, and some years ago started with GPS measuring of motorcycles, because there's no other channel on youtube worldwide doing it like me :)
👍👍👍
thanks :)
I'd like to know how you recorded the GPS figures because they seem low. I pretty much know that the odo leads by 5kph (measured repeatedly on mine from 50 to 200kph) & you're well into 1:28 setting off & it looks like less into 1:31 at 105kph. Given that it should be sub 3 I'm sceptical. Thanks for doing this though...it's cool.
Yep... at 106kph your gps is reading 90. That's outside of the 10% regulation & inconsistent with what is a direct calculation off the (EDIT it's off the rear wheel, as @motogp_ says) ... I think it's lagging.
* deleted *
Thanks :) It's the Gopro GPS. You cannot use UA-cam to count the time from 0-100. You have to count every single frame (I do it in Adobe Premiere). This bike cannot do 0-100 in sub 3s. You have to consider: the speed is measured at the rear wheel (I guess it must be at the exit of the gearbox), and at acceleration you have more slip as at constant riding.
@@mototop_ as I understand it it's off the ABS sensor because it's obviously already recording rotation speed (it used to be off the front, but they seem to have switched to the rear)... what ever it has to be down the line from the gear box so the only slip is the tyre on road... 11% (+5%) is bonkers. The 1200 was an easy sub 3 & the 1250 has more torque. I'm not convinced.
Nice one. 👍😎🇦🇺
thanks Bro :) I did dome interesting test: I launched with low revs (3000rpm), just like a normal launch at public roads. And after releasing clutch completely I gave full throttle. Time was 3,7s for 0-100, therefore only 0,2s slower than a launch with high revs and slowly releasing clutch. I will repeat this test with my CBR1100X and upload a comparison video.
@@mototop_ The absolute key to a fast launch is higher revs, full throttle as the clutch engages, and releasing it as quickly as possible, then without using the clutch and only a slight reduction in throttle, kick it into second and so on. Most bikes, even without a quick shifter can be upshifted without using the clutch. Your 0-100 kph and 0-400 metre times will also improve. Keep up the great work as I love watching your channel. A couple of extra words at the end to sum it up would be icing on the cake as your English is better than some who have it as their first language. 👍😎🇦🇺
@@marcusgeorge1825 thanks Bro :) Now I did the same thest with my CBR1100XX. Low rev launch (3,48s) was 0,3s slower than high rev launch (3,15s). 3,5s with a low rev launch is not bad I would say ;)
Additional to the Gopro now I have a RaceBox Mini with 25Hz GPS. Working pretty well :)
@@mototop_ Awesome! Great news. What will it mean to your content?
Regarding the launches. The higher rev ones combined with excellent clutch and throttle control will always give you a better start. However, these will wear the items out quicker and isn’t really required on the roads. On a racetrack, it’s a completely different story. As that 0.3 you mentioned equates to losing 20+ track positions by the time you reach the first corner. As Phillip Island was my home racetrack, you are also starting on a slightly upward position in the first 3 rows. Behind these the grid is flat. Something most wouldn’t know. 👍😎🇦🇺
@@marcusgeorge1825 Sadly youtube hided your last comment for one month.... :(
The Racebox Mini is used for validation of the Gopro data. Maybe I will also add the results from the Racebox Mini at my videos.
Test the new yamaha mt10?
Yeah really hoping for some Yamaha testing
@@wreckoning I know, but I don't have any contacts to Yamaha yet.
@@mototop_ unfortunate, but hopefully your channel keeps growing and eventually you will get the contacts! Anyway good job, really like your content. Straight to the point
@@wreckoning thanks :)
🏁🏆🏁🏆
thanks :)
warten wir auf 1250RT.... schön grüss aus fr.
Mal schaun wann ich sie bekomme :)
Very quick 0-100km/h.
yep, was a good time for that kind of bike :)
Hello. Speaking of comfort. What's your opinion on it? It can be considered as a real touring bike? Like riding 400 kilometers on a day?
Thanks.
yep, it's pretty good for touring. Of course the RT is better, but the RS is also nice for longer touring.
I have done 650 kilometers in a day on a ninja 636. This thing would be like riding a cloud compared to that 🤣 and is almost as fast in a straight line.
@@GyroPyro121212 I've done 1500km on a CBR600F.... 😅
@@mototop_ The furthest I’ve ridden in one day was about 700 kilometers and it was on my KLR650. On my CBR1000F I think I could reasonably go that 1,500 without being too uncomfortable. On the ZX6-R it would be a lot lmao.
I think it would be good for the Saddlesore 1000. That 1610 kilometers in 24 hours. It's an American thing.
Moto, you forgot to add the MPH for us normal people 😁
normal? :D sorry, I forgot. Now I added it to description ;) 0-60 mph 3,4s 0-100 mph 6,7s
240 kmh is 149 mph
@@surferdude642 at my topspeed videos I also have mph in the video ;)
So the gs and the xr had a baby
maybe... :)
A new k1600gt test?
Maybe I'll get one
Do you feel the bike moving to the right side(im assumming) that the crankshaft is spinning???
just in stillstand
@@mototop_ what about cornering when the bike is leaned over
@@bloodspartan300 I don't feel any influence
This could be a beginner bike?
could be :)
230+ kph ?
topspeed was 234km/h
0 - 100 i stopped the time. it was around 2.9 sec.
Have you stopped the speedo or GPS?
@@mototop_ according the Speedo.
@@leecortenz ok, but speedo is not accurate. GPS is better.
Звук мотора - туфта!
what you mean?
Pensé que sería más rápida yo feliz con mi r1 viendo estas motos q no corren nada jjajajaj los 300 ami me los da en 12 segundos y sin problema
la R1 es una motocicleta diferente
