Top Decliner here. $237 in 5 hours last night. Nearing 10k lifetime deliveries. Lots of placebo effect and Koolaid drinking when it comes to dashing. We all have good and bad days. Get the red card, verify pizza bag, turn on alcohol deliveries, get on the lop. Don't be scared of S&D's. Opening yourself up to the most order types is most important. Anyway just my 2 cents. Do what works for you.
The ability to be able to end your dash and start a new one is also huge, because orders often take you outside your zone and drop you where there may be new orders
@@TiltyfishPoker the point I posted was that top dasher is worth it. You just said that you think top dasher is worth it. Good to see you agree with my point. In regards to markets, it’s that’s individual’s choice if they choose to rideshare in a bad market. DoorDash allows you to find a better market if you feel you’re in a bad one. High acceptance rate unlocks high paying offers. Large order program unlocks higher paying offers but you need good ratings to qualify for that as well. Bottom line is if it’s not working for you then find something else to make money doing. But dashing without top dasher and meeting the other perks with DoorDash is pretty much being content with being mediocre.
Thank you for detailing this. Gave up on top dasher early on in my 3 years dashing, but am willing to give it a try again... didn't know about this last-minute strategy.
After listening to you for weeks, along with Pedro too, I have learned what to accept and decline to remain top dasher. I have learned my market and how to pause after a delivery to get back to my zone and out of a sketch zone. I have been much happier ☺️. Thanks Richard 🎉 4:23
great tips in this video, been dashing of a few months and at 200 plus deliveries, i will try this method, since i am approaching near the end of the month, hoping this works!!
I would say get 2% more than what is required just to be safe, sometimes there’s a mismatch between what you see on your screen, and what DoorDash has on their servers.
I used to be a top Dasher but then I got a job and I try to do it part time but it’s difficult because a lot of the times I get out it’s just not busy enough for me to become a top Dasher I really like the extra income, but it’s hard without being a top Dasher
Dude with the new program?? Since top dasher is gone now. Is it the same thing with platinum?? What I mean is can I cherry pick for 3 weeks and then at the last week of the month do my 100 to be at a 90-100% acceptance rate to keep my platinum status?? Or is gone as soon as my rate drop below 70 my status is gone no matter if is mid month??

I have a question. Yesterday I was had scheduled myself in Henderson. My first order was 3.80c for 14 miles, the second was 2.26c for 8.9 miles. Both would take me out of my zones and have to drive back to my"zone" to work again. My AR is 38% due to this bullshit the DD is doing. Do I have to take all these type of orders to get 70% AR. I figure I would just write them a cheque to them pay my money upfront and Of course I should pay DD to work for them. What are your thoughts? I turned off my app and went with UE which I did well for the evening. We are independent contractors, last I checked means we work for ourselves 'I think". So why punish us for not taking garbage orders and just taking decent ones. Not cherry picking but 7 to 8 dollar orders in our SCHEDULED ZONES so WE THE PEOPLE can making a living. After the last day of the month fufilling the requirements for top dashers when do i become a top dasher? Today is the 1st but im not a top dasher or do i have to wait untill the 3rd as stated on DD website. I was top dasher for January and i received notifications via email on the 1st that i was top dasher.

you need to do what i explained in this video as your current AR is a reflection of your PREVIOUS 100 deliveries. So in short you need to do 14 deliveries a day and decline 6. do that 5 days in a row starting today and you will have a 70% AR on the 31st AFTER you've completed 14 deliveries
? I was at at a 95 percent I ended my dash somehow it drop to 94 for not accepting it how many orders do I have to get to get back to 95 on the new program

I have been trying for tha past few months but cannot get the right % rates. I refuse to take orders for 2.25$ driving 12 or 13 miles (get multiple per day). But honestly my market is pretty small around 24k people with a very large number of dashers, i doubt there are even that many high paying orders out there(the military are well know for being cheap).
