Thank you for this amazing tutorial. I want to make a cardigan out of these skull granny squares but I have only been crocheting 3 months and I cannot do a magic ring. Other tutorials involved a magic ring and I couldn't wrap my head around it. Love that you do it differently to other people. I can finally make my cardigan, was pretty easy too so thank you!

hey thanks for the video! i was wondering how we get to 8 double crochets on the second round of the skull? because when we start we had a chain and a double crochet in the same stitch, and then two double crochet increases on either side, which is only 6 doubles. am i missing something? please someone let me know
My bad! I meant the 8 stitches and not 8 dc. So the sc is to me made in the hdc and not the dc! 😊

I’m still a bit confused where we start the granny square row
Start with the very 1st double crochet that you might have made on the top
I followed your instructions and every time came up with 6 dbl crochet, not 8 to begin the second part of the square. You should show the piece for a good 15 seconds so we can count and examine it once it's done. Hope for an update. 😊
May be you are not making 1 double crochet on each side instead of 2. Hope it helps. ☺️❤️
